A last minute booking, that just needed to be near Milan Central Station. This offered B&B for € 54 a night..The room was on the back, clean, warm and quite. I liked the breakfast with a selection of croissants and enough other things to set you for the day. Overall I felt that was good value and better than I expected.

12 min walk from central train sta, a real plus for us. Long way to sights of central Milan, but the proprietor gave us VG advice and we walked one block to metro stop, easily bought tickets, and in 6 min (4 stops) we were at the duomo. Beds comfy. Bfast buffet of cereal, juice, pastries, ham, cheese, etc fine....

Good customer service - nice staff. Tried as much as possible to accomodate to guests needs. Clean rooms. Unrestricted decent breakfast - fresh. WiFi available. Very good location and close to transport. On the same street as Milano Centrale station and very close to the high street and markets. Close to restaurants. Easy to get to Milan Centre. Had a...

Small but cozy hotel with a breakfast in the garden. I think this one is perfect for young couples. Location is convenient as well (30 min walk to Duomo). Rooms are minimalistic but everything you needed is there. Breakfast could have little bit more in variety, but it is fine.

The night we stayed here was very hot and the air conditioning didn't work; I had to complain several times before it was fixed. The location is good for the Milano Central station but not so good for the tourist area of Milan. There is good transportation nearby, though. The room was well appointed but the bathroom was minuscule.

Seven short blocks from Milano Centrale Station, quiet & clean room, staff helpful, wi-fi free, adequate continental breakfast. Only negatives: lighting for makeup poor and need clothing hooks in bathroom.

The hotel has a good location close to Lima subway station and central train station, about 5 minutes walk to each one. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The neighbourhood seemed safe at night but it was a bit noisy in the morning from the traffic outside.

Rooms are spacious. Bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of hot water for the winter month during which we stayed. Have no complaints! Breakfast was adequate; nothing fancy. Coffee, juices, croissants, nutella, bread etc etc. Wifi is fast and free. Wonderful and helpful staff.

We had originally booked a night in a different hotel for our first night in Milan but when we went to check in they told us they had no room....we ended up at the Salerno Hotel because booking.com customer service was amazing at finding us a different place where we wanted to be and one we could afford and we...

Just a short walk down from the central station, street isn't the prettiest, but the hotel is an oasis. Not sure why it only has two stars, but the quality of the room suggests more. Maybe it's the lack of coffee making facilities, or a restaurant, but there are plenty of those nearby For a short break in a journey,...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
