Stayed a couple of nights at this hotel. It's not too central but right next to Garibaldi station and not too far from Central station, so well connected. The hotel is modern with good size rooms. The WiFi worked reliably which is always nice. There was something off with room lighting though, it always felt darker than it should, especially... More

Considering the often exorbitant prices of luxury and design hotels in Milan, I've decided to go with the AC Hotels by Marriott for 4 nights. Am disappointed with my worst Marriott service experience. The Pluses - Good proximity to Corso Como and the Garibaldi M2 Metro station, within 5mins walk from the Hotel. The urban/suburban line is located directly at... More

This is a modestly priced hotel (for Milan) that is in a convenient place, in my opinion. It is near the train station Porto Garibaldi, which is one of the main train stations in Milan, only two stops from the primary train station - Milan Centrale. The hotel has the expected facilities including a restaurant serving breakfast, which is served... More

I was at the Marriott for an extended stay of over one week. For one night, I probably would not have noticed or overlooked many of the issues with this hotel. But, if you are looking to stay a few days or more I would suggest looking elsewhere. Pros: The room itself is large. You can control the thermostat (unlike... More

What a fabulous hotel with a great location. Great shower and very clean room thanks in great part to the hard wood floors...so much better than carpet...!!! The check in guys - especially Massimiliano - were so attentive and sweet.... I will def stay here again - close to PORTA Garibaldi station and a short taxi ride from Milano Centrale....!!

The hotel is located very near to Piazza Gae Aulenti where you can walk and see some shops , have a nice meal or a cup of coffee. The hotel is well organized, clean, and new. Rooms are not spacious but are very nice and new. the breakfast is very simple but very healthy and tasty. One disadvantage is that... More

Made for single millennials on business. TV has lots of non-Italian channels as soon as you turn it on. Prices rise and fall based on the season. We went the week after Fashion week and it was just over 100 euros. Use your Marriott card and status to upgrade to the deluxe, premium rooms. Expensive breakfast but if you mention... More

Great hotel, excellent location close by Garabaldi Railway station, trams also stopped nearly at the front door. Room was usual for Marriott run hotels, clean, large and modern. Breakfast was very good, well stocked and good tastes, all in all exactly what we were used to. The front desk staff were extremely polite and helpful, inparticular Andrea, he told us... More

Hotel: a new & modern hotel with an elegant interior. Big lobby & a nice bar. Good breakfast. WiFi could be improved. Room: big & comfort. Nice city view. Good air-condition/heating. I only did not like the lack of power-socket in the twin room. Location: not in the center of Milan, but it has a good location. Only 2 minutes... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
