We stayed here for a short city break in Milan. Excellent location, 3 minutes walk from Milan Central station for connections to airports and other towns/ cities across Italy and other European cities, in addition to the metro and trams. We had a very early flight home and was so easy getting to the airport. The area felt safe with lots of good places to eat a short walk away with a mix of locals and tourists. Entrance and communal areas in the hotel were nice.
Check in straight forward though not much communication from staff nor asked if we needed any tourist info or assistance etc, just told floor our room was on and kind of left to our own devices despite lots of staff available.
Room was clean, quiet, spacious with modern deco, big comfy bed and plenty of storage. Room info when booking advised ironing facilities but these were not available in the room (but did not ask reception possibly available if asked). No tea coffee facilities in the room although kettles etc in a number of people’s pictures- Not sure if this was dependant on the room type booked?!?
Wifi fine but had to connect daily.
No view despite advertised as city view, we looked onto service area/bins and the back of other buildings. Other rooms had fab city views and views of landmarks.
A couple of the hotel pics misleading as appeared there was a roof top area with loungers- staff advised this was only for guests in the suit on the top floor.
Would stay again and recommend

Glam Hotel is your conventional 4* hotel in a modern city. Their breakfast and buffet dinner spread is palatable with a fairly decent spread of choices. We checked in on Xmas Eve so the crowd was expected. They were mostly Asian guests from China, HK and S. Korea. We booked via Agoda after we read the reviews that this hotel provides free dinner buffet. It IS free. Thank you Glam. Besides, it is so conveniently located across Milano Centrale Stazione that this is probably the best reason for any guests who is considering Glam Hotel.
Check in was smooth. We stayed for 2 nights on level 7. Our windows overlook the Swiss Alps and the snow capped peaks were visible. Awesome view! I didn’t like the warm, humid and stuffy corridor leading to the lift area at level 7. I would suggest the hotel management install some air freshener in their air vent to reduce the stale odor.
Lastly, I noted the presence of some street people from a particular origin hanging out very close to this hotel vicinity and the Centrale Stazione which initially made me feel insecure about the area. Thankfully, I had my husband and tall son with me so I braved myself and shrugged off my insecurity. Eventually,
we walked all the way to the Duomo and back on Xmas day.
Hope this helps.

The rate was about 180 euro per night, and with taxes and Hotel Fee (20 euro per night) the stay got more expensive. This was without the 15 euro per person breakfast. There is a bar on the lower street level, and there is a restaurant between the first and third floors. The elevators are slow, but the room was clean and with the exception of not having a microwave or bottle opener was satisfactory. There was a safe and a refrigerator, as well as television.

Our room overlooked the side street and the parts of the plaza (Pictures shown). There is a Metro (subway) entry just feet from the front rotating door, but it is not at the metro station, you have to walk the tunnel that goes under the plaza to the Milan Central station.

The hotel management were responsive to request, and the workers were helpful. The location near the train station was one of the best features as it was also the place for many of the bus and train tours to other locations like Lake Como, Venice, Florence, etc.

There are several restaurants and shops (Selling beer at 1 to 2 euro) within a block or two walking distance.

Would stay there again, if ever returning to Milan.

one of the worst hotels of milan.

before covid i had booked this hotel since i had a business exhibition, after that they did not gave me the refund but kept pishing it by offering credit note.
when i tried to book this uear they removed breakfast and dinner which was included in my stay moreover they asked for another 50 euros plus tax i had to agree since i had no other option.

check in was the worst process , the reception team feels like they own they property and they hv no courtesy for the guests. we had 2 rooms both were given on different floors despite our requests. also to our shock the room was not with separate beds as we have requested it for specifically.

the room was terrible bath fitting and shower area are the worst the bath tub entry height for room 202 is way higher literally need to climb to reach the shower area.

i got stuck in the bathroom since the door fitting is not proper luckily my brother pushed the door from outside so i was able to open the lock.

this hotel management and ownership i think has changed after covid.

after auch terrible check in exp we decided to skip the breakfast at this hotel, we went to nearby flora hotel for breakfast and were happy with the accomodating nature of the staff there and so much courtesy and warmth in serving breakfast.

room service at glam hotel is even the worst , if u ask for keetle u get it after 1 hr after repeated reminders, the keetle u get is old and unwashed with limescale deposits, once u get the keetle u know tea and coffee js not provided with it so u wait another half hour. and finally wen u prepare hot water for tea u realise no cups in the room , so another half hour for cups for the room service to get it into your room.

after our repeated requests our room was changed to 2 single bedded room which was done after the reception lady shouted at us to show to booking confirmation mentioning 2 separate beds.

the 2nd room had a better view. the room air conditioning was bad. we saw another guy who had 5 nights booking at the hotel has an issue with ac and the people there were not helping him.

my request to all is to pls avoid this hotel , if u get it at a deal price abt 50 euros with breakfast go for it otherwise skip it. since service and room qualtiy is not worth more than this.

i request hotel not to reply to my review with silly and substandard replies. taking action against the staff and improving room should be top priority.

The location is prefect next to the station, I wouldn’t recommend staying here more than two days. There is a cleaning problem and drainage issue with the bathroom the sink always overflowing, we mentioned that to the front desk many times but they failed to fixe it, the cleaning staff barley clean anything they only fix the bed and change the garbage.
The bell boy or the hotel porter, was useless and didn’t help us with the bag and there was five luggage carts, none of them worked and appeared the hotel never fixed them! So everyone who is coming to the hotel are carrying their own luggage till the rooms.
Whatever you will request from room service they will either forget your room number or will deliver it after one hour and half.
The public hotel bathroom was really dirty and disgusting.

Id like to start by saying the only positive on this hotel is the location, firstly we arrived in the room which was extremely hot, we asked for the air connto be put on or if we could have a fan and was told the air con was broke by one member of staff. During our first night my family did not sleep the maximum we got was 3 hours due to the heat, we went down in the middle of the night to be told the heating has to be on all day and night due to it being “winter”, when infact it was 27degrees outside.

The shower in the room did not work, we asked if we could move room and was told “there is nothing we can do” we had to use the small hand held shower.

Went down to the bar in the evening and waited around ten minutes for a staff member to serve us, approached the reception staff to ask if their is any staff working on the bar to be told “I am unsure let me just check”. I was then waiting a further 20minutes.

The staff member who was then working on the bar came to me and was extremely lovely, the only nice member of staff I had experienced when staying in this hotel, he was working delivering all the room service as well as having to serve on the bar on his OWN.

I definitely do not recommended staying in this hotel, the staff are not one bit helpful they make up excuses as to why things don’t work and I think this is because they are unsure themselves.

I've booked Glam Hotel in Milan, through Booking.com, for the night of the 26th of June for one night.

I arrived at the hotel around lunch time and they had a room ready so I dropped my bag and went out and didn't returned until about 8pm.

When I checked in I just left my bag, I didn't stop in the room at all so when I returned at 8pm I changed and refreshed and as I was moving around the room I realised that the carpet around the mini-bar was soaking wet, again, I was in a hurry to go out so I stopped at reception and mentioned about the wet carpet and asked them to check the room and maybe move me to another room. The receptionist said that that they can't repair anything in the evening but they will try to move me to another room.

I went out for dinner and when I came back around 10.30, there was none at the desk so I went to my room and checked the carpet, the carpet was still soaking wet and I realised that the TV and plug sockets were fused from the flooded carpet so I called reception and explain the situation. The receptionist send someone upstairs and he tested the sockets, and remote control and said the same thing that all was fused because of the faulty minibar.

I said fine, I would to be moved to another room so the receptionist said that they have other rooms but they haven't been cleaned, I mean, there were two people on duty just speaking to me, I found confusing to why they could not sort out a room.

I flew out very early in the morning so I didn't see the manager or supervisor but I messaged the hotel next day and never heard back, messaged the hotel a couple of times and finally left a review but still nothing.

Then I messaged Booking.com about 6-7 times and they were keep saying that is nothing to do with them, I know that they are the "middle man" but that room was a safety hazard so they should be able to discuss differently with the hotel.

Theoretically should be fantastic hotel. 4 stars. In front of the central train station and a boutique hotel. Reality is that it has lots of potential yet is really very ran down, already.
Shower had an issue of blocked drainage. I guess this ain’t anything new since the whole room stunk of mold. Shower door was leaking so the entire bath floor was flooded .
Elevator are completely idiotic. Takes ages to get one. And finally, I do understand the high rate for malpensa airport limo service yet 130 euros????? Are you insane? The malpensa express is just there and is 13 euros…I did take limo services even from further location and that was 90. Greedy?!
To shows 90% Italian stations, Come on. At the era of the metaverse isn’t smart TV even and option?

This is a general phenomena in Milano. The richest county in Italy (Lombardia) everything is so ran down. The entrance to the impressive fascism building you find dozens of hobbos that, mind my French, use the whole area as a toilet. And mind you this is in FRONT of the Lombardy government building….

This hotel was beyond my expectations. I felt relaxed and comfortable. Although it is located in front of the Station but I could sleep in peace without no noice at all. I am assuming as well that the rooms are soundproof since I could not hear anything. The location is great as you can move easily to all other sites within 20-30 mint only. Around the hotel there are many restaurants and cafes that you do not know which to try and which to left. The staff very friendly and the ability to check in before you come make the process easier. In general this is your hotel in Milan.

Hi, Honestly I’m not the best person to advise you regarding your travel to Milan. I trust you know what’s best. We all know that Northern Italy is currently experiencing a critical situation battling the coronavirus. I’d give this place a miss if I were you. All the best. Stay safe.
