Can not recommend this place highly enough if your looking at a wedding in orta. They were the easiest people to deal with and managed the booking really well. The place itself is stunning and right on the lake. Some rooms are a bit pokey for what your paying and the beds are a bit hard for some but overall...

The best place to stay in Orta, right on the lake and facing the water. We turned up without booking in August and were offered a room facing the lake and the island on the first floor, with a door leading onto the shared terrace area and stairs leading directly to the lake for an early morning swim. The room...

Overpriced suite room, cheap attitude you have to pay for Internet 1€ a day when you pay 260€ for the room. Horrific service you ask cappuccino without foam and of course there is the foam. The suite have no fridge, pretentious Venetian style you need to be a engineer to make the shower work. The owners have no idea what...

We were given a frosty but efficient welcome in this prime location hotel on Orta lake. Our superior room had no lake view and was small but we didn't feel like arguing about it. The following morning we were amongst the first down to breakfast where we were met by two elderly scowling ladies They had set tables as far...

Hell to get to. Don't bother calling to ask for directions, they will get you more lost than gps. Once you park your car in lot, it's a downhill bumpy walk. That means it's an uphill bumpy walk back to your car dragging luggage and anything else you accrued. Booking site says there would be a refrigerator in room. There...

Lovely comfortable room in a nice hotel, superb waterfront location in a beautiful town. Super views across the lake to Isola d'Orta. Hotel restaurant is OK but there are many better eateries very close by. Note that the hotel is located in a traffic-free zone but you can drive to the square outside the hotel to drop off luggage -...

We had an excellent experience at this hotel and look forward to staying there again in the future. The rooms were clean and attractive with gorgeous views. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff was extremely cordial and helpful.

A family run hotel in a stunning location, right by the lake. Excellent food, top wine list and friendly team - from Mama downwards! only drawbacks are car parking - neither easy nor close - and rock hard bed.

The hotel is in the main square Piazza Motte and sits right on the lakeside overlooking the island of San Giulio and is a lovely old and quirky building with little nooks and corridors. It is beautifully furnished and decorated with interesting furniture, rich fabrics and wall papers. We booked a comfort room (202), with balcony overlooking the lake, direct...
