We recently returned from a 6 week trip to Italy where we stayed at 12 different lodgings. Hotel Feichter was one of the nicest places. The staff was wonderful; very friendly, helpful, and attentive. We were made to feel very welcome and at home. We were allowed to store food and wine in their walk-in refrigerator. The room was of...

This is a friendly family hotel but remains a very basic. Bolzano is an expensive city for accommodation and this is actually good value relative to others. The service is friendly as you often find in family owned and run establishments, Reception is helpful. You need to walk up one level. Rooms are via a lift over next 3 floors....

I stayed in a single room in October. It was comfortable and had everything I needed. It's a short walk (5 min or so) to the train station and not too far from anything else either. The Museion was maybe 10-15 minutes walking. Restaurants, shopping, and the archaeological museum were closer. Even a grocery store and drug store (for sundries)...

Our stay was great. The room is plain but clean. We came in late September and it was cool so we could open our window. I don't think there is any A/C otherwise. We were on an upper floor with a shared balcony with a good view of the foothills. Breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly and...

We arrived in Bozen to visit the 5,000 year old man and at the Feichter Hotel after reading about the hotel in Rick Steves' "Italy". The hotel is comfortable and clean. But as we were just "passing through" it was perfect. The parking garage is a bit of a challenge, but it is safe and convenient. The staff is friendly,...

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good - breads, yougurt, cereals and lots of drinks. Has wifi and in a very central location near the train station and main square, but just far enough away to be quiet. No a/c but has a fan.

My husband and I along with a family member had the absolute pleasure of spending one night at Feichter Hotel. After arriving by train from Kufstein we went to the tourist information center and they referred us to this hotel. We were welcomed at reception with warm smiles and effortlessly booked two rooms. Our room was basic but sparkling clean...

We stayed here 1 night while on our way through Italy. It had high recommendation from Rick Steves travel books and online reviews. When we got to the hotel, it was later than expected and they greeted us with a friendly smile. Helped us get setup to park the car and walk back to the room. The rooms were small...

We arrived in Bolzano with no room reserved.. we only had to spend one night in the city before starting our Alta Via 2 trek. The first hotel we checked, Laurin, was way over our planned budget, so we head over to a tourist information to find more options; luckily we met there a fellow speaking our language and after...

Great location. Nice staff. Small, dirty, very outdated rooms. Again, great walking distance to everything you need. But, very hot in the summer because the windows look out on the walkway or someones apartment a few feet away.

“If you do have to stay here, ask for a room with a window that opens to privacy. Check that the wifi works, it only worked outside the hotel on the patios/walkways. They kept saying they "were fixing it". Never happened.”

“We had room 7 which appears to be slightly larger than the rooms on either side, but no safe. Room 6 has a safe and Room 8 & 9 have a locking cupboard. Rooms 8 & 9 are up an extra small set of steps, which could be an issue for the less mobile.”
