Everything about our stay here was perfect. Personal service to an extreme. Their goal is to make you a happy traveler. From the modern, clean rooms, to the delicious food, to the relaxing spa amenities - everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a place to relax and get away, or a relaxing place to return to after a day of hiking the Dolomites, this is the place. Quiet, very quiet resort, with very friendly staff that care for their guests. Family run and the personal attention shows. Breathtaking views from your room.

From the minute we arrived, we knew we were in a special place. We were warmly received and after an efficient check-in, we were brought to our room in the traditional section which had a spectacular view of the Dolomites. The experience of swimming in both pools with mountain views was amazing. The 3/4 board was fantastic and thoroughly satisfying. At breakfast, I enjoyed making my own juice from a selection of fruits and vegetables to accompany both hot and cold offerings at the buffet. The multi-course dinners were delicious and well prepared. We didn't go hungry here! Time at the spa was truly restorative for all of us. Spending days walking around the hotel complex in our fluffy bathrobes and pool slippers (provided) was a treat. My husband was finally able to decompress and relax in the sauna and pools, and our teen-aged daughter loved the peacefulness of the gardens. My massage treatment was the best and a highly recommended addition. We were given free bus passes to use for trips to the local towns which we appreciated. Our family hike on the plateau was fantastic. The hotel staff were gracious, efficient and professional, and made a big difference to our overall positive experience. We felt as if we reconnected as a family and with nature. We were sorry to have to leave and we agreed next time to come for a longer stay. I'm sure your family will feel the same after your visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Valentinerhof. After a stressful few months planning our wedding we wanted somewhere where we could totally relax and this beautiful spa and hotel, nestled in incredible mountain scenery, was perfect. The owners and staff did everything to assure our comfort but we owe them special thanks for going out of their way to help us when we realized - 30 mins before we were due to leave - that we had left our wallet in a restaurant in the town centre. Even though we were able to pay on another card, Mrs. Mulser insisted on driving us down to collect our wallet and make sure we got to our bus on time. It was a huge help in a very tricky situation and we can't thank her enough. We've been telling all our family and friends just how great our stay at Valentinerhof was, and we'd recommend it to anybody.

This was such an amazing stop in Northern Italy, Everything is very modern and the views are second to none. We had 3/4 board, which included a huge and nutritious breakfast, some sweets for a "lunch snack" and a superb dinner, i believe it was in total about 5 courses. The spa was so relaxing, and being in an outdoor heated pool in the Dolomites, breathing in all that fresh air.... you can't beat it! This hotel is a must if you're traveling through the Dolomites.

We stayed a family of two adults and a child and it worked brilliantly. From the very first moment in the reception we were received with an extreme kindness and high service level explaining every little detail about the evenings menu and the practicalities around our stay and potential routes to Alpi Di Siusi. You really felt part of a family establishment and one thing that struck us was the calmness in and around the hotel in the evening when we were injoying a drink from the bar on our balcony. I can highly recommend Valentinerhof for your stay in the Dolomites.

We stayed in this hotel between 17 and 22 September 2013. Personally it was an amazing experience and would return without hesitation. 1. Breakfast - a wide choice of cereal, cheese, ham/salami, scrambled/boiled eggs, croissants natural or with jam.. cakes.. and if you go late (around 9am) they still re-fill scrambled egg section :) They also provide cappuccino apart from normal coffees.. 2. Dinner - every morning you are given a menu and you select your main course for that same evening. Every night we had a great selection of food.. it consisted of a 5 course meal, salad buffet, soup, starter e.g. gnocchi with almond sauce and prawns was my favourite! main.. a choice of meat, fish, chicken, vegetarian and dessert was always different .. like chocolate mousse or apple strudel.. we used to eat around 7.30pm/8pm and never found missing items (people tend to eat early). The food was excellent so WELL DONE goes to the chef! :) 3. Spa - 11 out of 10 definitely! the outdoor heated pool is a must to try 4. Rooms - we tried both the old and new section.. both great in their own way. The new version has a great shower and the room also had motorized curtains and a great terrace. Only downside here is that we had some flies in the room.. this is obviously not the hotel's fault but the people who left the terrace door open for a long time.. 5. Wifi - we paid around Euro 20 for the week and we had wifi on 4 devices.. worked great in both new and old hotel rooms but was weak in the breakfast area. Overall we were very satisfied with this hotel and we would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a relaxing break with great scenery and spa. Keep it up! Dorianne & Gabriel Malta

A wonderful hotel with an amazing wellness area- saunas with views onto the mountains. An indoor and outdoor infinity pool also with a view right onto the mountains. Excellent service in the hotel-wonderful food in the evening with excellent waitress service. Nothing to complain about- I will definitely return to relax and enjoy the view and the surroundings and the food!

I only stayed here one night, but the experience was superb. I called, without prior reservation, from the bus stop. The host graciously picked me up quickly and with a smile. Dinner was delicious - they take obvious pride in their meals. A large, wide porch offers a beautiful vista of stunning dolomite mountains, the sunset, and the little town of Castelrotto. I didn't get to try the pool, but it looked lovely. The room seemed fine, although I didn't spend much time in it to evaulate - quiet, clean, good bed. Most outstanding in my memory was the service - the host efficiently helped me plan a hiking trip to a rifugio in the Dolomites the next day, which otherwise would not have been possible. She suggested a route, provided me with a map, arranged for luggage storage at the departure point, and made reservations at the rifugio. She definitely went above and beyond what I expected, and made a great experience possible for me.
