This is a great option for anyone looking for a centrally located, clean and inexpensive accommodation in Merano. It's just 2 min by bike from the train station and the therme pools. You can book directly via their website enquiry page and they get back to you in less than 24 hrs through email. You pay directly on the spot,... More

I had a great experience with the staff at the Youth Hostel Merano. I had a lot of questions and I got immediate responses any time I sent an email. Unfortunately, my plans fell through and I was not able to stay there, but I definitely plan on doing so next time I get a chance to go to Merano.... More

Clean, central, affordable, no frills but everything ones needs. A quite varied breakfast is included. The only things missing are towels and a television in the room. Those are the only things that make this a hostel rather than a hotel I think. But there is a big television in the main seating area which is open all day and... More

This place is great, just like the Bolzano hostel (they're owned by the same company). Everything about it is wonderful - cheap, clean, breakfast included, but the only thing is that in the morning there is some awful sound...like a dinosaur scraping his giant chair across the floor! lol. I'm not sure what it was, I think something in the... More

We're. 60's+ couple traveling through Italy. This youth hostel is a real find! There's quite a few young people, but some of us old folks, too. Our room is very comfortable, we pushed two of the single beds together (and used the third for our clothes). We made up our own bed, and did have to rent a towel as... More

We are seniors, and were looking for budget but clean accommodations in Merano and found it at the Youth Hostel. It is right near the main part of town within walking distance to most everything. We had a rental car and they even provided free parking! And breakfast- which was very decent- yogurt, coffee, fresh bread, cereal, juice. It's clean,... More

We spent two night in this hostel. The room was clean, it is located in a central position, free breakfast was good. There is also a little playground for kids and free wi-fi. The staff is super nice. We paid 24€ for each adult and 12€ for my kid.

You can stay cheap or affordable in Meran. Just 5 minutes by bike from the station there is the youth hostel just for 22,50 € per Person in a double room. With good breakfast. The city is just round the corner and the church too (you get a free wake up call by nice music (really nice)). The rooms are... More
