Having been blessed with many travelling adventures I can confidently say that Hermitage is, without doubt, the best hotel I have ever stayed in. They thoroughly deserve each and every one of their stars! The rooms are spacious and throughout the hotel it is spotlessly clean. The food is delicious and there are so many extra touches (the shuttle to and from the town, the heated lockers for storing ski equipment, etc) that set the hotel apart from it's rivals. We travelled as a family of four and the Italian hospitality towards both adults and children was exceptional. Special mention should go to Eduardo, Cosimo & Luca who leave you feeling as if no request is too much when dining as their attention to detail is exceptional. All staff ensure you are never rushed and all are happy, polite and eager to lend a hand at all times. At the moment the Spa operates on timed sessions which I found worked well as the allotted slot is more than generous. The pool is luxurious and incredibly clean. I strongly recommend Sarah for a massage to ease weary skiers muscles also. Grazie mille Hermitage!!

If you’re looking for luxury after a long day on the slopes, then the Hermitage delivers on all fronts - beautiful rooms, comfy beds, great bathrooms with powerful showers and terrific food. But what sets this place apart is the staff, who are, all of them, so genuinely warm, friendly and happy to help. Travelling in Covid times, this meant helping us sort regular tests for our teenager, and all the logistics this entailed. Ski hire (and return) lunchtime reservations and recommendations, catering for awkward dietary needs, and whizzing us to and from town and gondola at the drop of a hat. And all with a smile. If you can, do. You won’t regret it. Top tip: get a sports massage from Luca in the spa to un-seize those muscles.

Every member of staff are awesome and motivated. It’s been so long since we have experienced great service - covid is an excuse for poor service. This hotel rocks - the service is fantastic, the authenticity of the building is unquestionable, the view is easily the best view in the world. This hotel is so good you have no chance of ever getting a reservation- it’s perfect.

Reset your stress level to “zero” and let the the Hermitage amazing staff take care of any details, just enjoying your “full-senses” unforgettable experience. Buy your skipass at the hotel reception desk, avoiding the lines at the ski resort ticket office, then take the limousine mini-van shuttle service from the heated ski storage to the lifts departure and focus only on the stunning beauty of the Italian Alps! The unique decoration, designed by international architect, of the shared spaces and of the recently renovated rooms and suites make you feel at home, in your private high-mountains luxury chalet; the restaurant serves excellent meals, from the energetic breakfast through the refreshing afternoon snacks, until the triumphing traditional but sophisticated dinner in the great salon surrounded by large windows overlooking the fairy tail whitened landscape. Indulge yourself at the spa after your active winter-sports day, swimming in the pool or just relaxing in the steam room or the dry sauna, but don’t miss the professional massage by the resident physiotherapist. I love mountains and alpine skiing since I was born, but spending some days at the Hermitage has been an unforgettable holiday, making me feel like Alice in Wonderland and being surprised like a kid discovering new experiences at every steps. It’s definitely a MUST to come back soon.

Once you discover this gem hidden in the fresh powdered Italian alps you will never go anywhere else. From the moment you arrive you feel like at home, fire place is always on and the fragrance of it will make u feel at home. Warm welcomed by Mr. Corrado in person, owner and founder with his family of the Hotel, with a nice glass of Donnas was the best way to start pour stay there. The concierge Daniel and his team will paper you with some special amenities in the room and will find the best way to make you discover this mountains and it's special food. First night we decided to stay in and try the restaurant: MAMA MIA BUONISSIMO! the experience was fantastic, all the team was always there for you and helped deciding the best match between the plates and the local yet impeccable food. Next day we went skiing with a guided tour organised by the concierge, was just amazing. The powder snow and the best ski instructor made our day special. Lunch at Chalet Etoile kissed by the sun, and then back to try the spa nested in the base of the hotel. Deep tissue massage and private vip room to relax... just one hint for this spa.. the rest you have to discover it by yourself :) Unfortunately the stay was to short but dreaming to come back next year!

Everything about this hotel is very special: excellent service, gourmet food, we had a lovely new suite, fabulous mountain views. On the colder evenings there is great fireplace. The sauna area is cosy. Very friendly and helpful staff also in the spa area.

Everything about this hotel is top class. The building is traditonal, however, many of the rooms have been modernised to a very high standard and have a contemporary feel - not your typical ski hotel. The dining and bar areas remain rustic/traditonal allowing you to immerse in the alpine feel (then your can head upstairs to your swish, modern room). The food is possibly the best I've ever had and the chef happily accommodates personal 'tweaks' to dishes. The staff make this place truly excepetional. Every single one of them is attentive and helpful, without being overbearing. From day one they remembered our names, what we drank, where we prefered to sit and also where we liked to be dropped off / picked up in the hotel Land Cruiser. The service at dinner was of particular note as the conversation and interaction was genuine and friendly (not stuffy and pretentious like some high class restaurants). There were two staff that deserve naming as they were superb - Aradu and Antoni - great ambassadors for a world class hotel.

loved the atmosphere of the hotel, perfect hotel if you want good service, Cosy rooms and great food. A quiet hotel where you can relax and rewind. Close to the village. And close to the lifts. And of course the slopes are the best. Back for the second time in Cervinia and we all enjoy the skiing here.
