Once you discover this gem hidden in the fresh powdered Italian alps you will never go anywhere else.
From the moment you arrive you feel like at home, fire place is always on and the fragrance of it will make u feel at home.
Warm welcomed by Mr. Corrado in person, owner and founder with his family of the Hotel, with a nice glass of Donnas was the best way to start pour stay there.
The concierge Daniel and his team will paper you with some special amenities in the room and will find the best way to make you discover this mountains and it's special food.
First night we decided to stay in and try the restaurant: MAMA MIA BUONISSIMO! the experience was fantastic, all the team was always there for you and helped deciding the best match between the plates and the local yet impeccable food.
Next day we went skiing with a guided tour organised by the concierge, was just amazing. The powder snow and the best ski instructor made our day special.
Lunch at Chalet Etoile kissed by the sun, and then back to try the spa nested in the base of the hotel.
Deep tissue massage and private vip room to relax... just one hint for this spa.. the rest you have to discover it by yourself :)
Unfortunately the stay was to short but dreaming to come back next year!

Having been blessed with many travelling adventures I can confidently
say that Hermitage is, without doubt, the best hotel I have ever stayed in. They thoroughly deserve each and every one of their stars! The rooms are spacious and throughout the hotel it is spotlessly clean. The food is delicious and there are so many extra touches (the shuttle to and from the town, the heated lockers for storing ski equipment, etc) that set the hotel apart from it's rivals.

We travelled as a family of four and the Italian hospitality towards both adults and children was exceptional. Special mention should go to Eduardo, Cosimo & Luca who leave you feeling as if no request is too much when dining as their attention to detail is exceptional. All staff ensure you are never rushed and all are happy, polite and eager to lend a hand at all times.

At the moment the Spa operates on timed sessions which I found worked well as the allotted slot is more than generous. The pool is luxurious and incredibly clean. I strongly recommend Sarah for a massage to ease weary skiers muscles also.

Grazie mille Hermitage!!

If you’re looking for luxury after a long day on the slopes, then the Hermitage delivers on all fronts - beautiful rooms, comfy beds, great bathrooms with powerful showers and terrific food.

But what sets this place apart is the staff, who are, all of them, so genuinely warm, friendly and happy to help. Travelling in Covid times, this meant helping us sort regular tests for our teenager, and all the logistics this entailed. Ski hire (and return) lunchtime reservations and recommendations, catering for awkward dietary needs, and whizzing us to and from town and gondola at the drop of a hat. And all with a smile.

If you can, do. You won’t regret it.

Top tip: get a sports massage from Luca in the spa to un-seize those muscles.

Great property, luxurious throughout. Our room faced the front so great Matterhorn view.
The hotel is up a slope so nice and quiet...there is always the free hotel transport on hand to whizz you to/from the lift/town in 2 mins.
Tomas on front of house and Luca at breakfast offered exceptional service.
It is a 5 star hotel so prices are never cheap but good quality.
The pool/spa is a very comfortable pption at the end of the day.
Revommended.

We’ve been coming to the Hotel Hermitage for many years and I wanted to write an update since my last review in 2011.
This is a very comfortable Relais and Chateaux - we always feel welcome and pampered. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we could want. The spa area has been recently renovated with an updated “Thermarium.”

In previous years, the hotel rates included half board meals (breakfast & dinner). Now dinner is paid a la carte. I feel this is a better arrangement and the food has improved in quality (don’t get me wrong, it was excellent before).

The property has been carefully maintained and updated over the years. This is our favorite place in the world to ski and we look forward to returning for many years.

Hermitage of Cervinia, as the name itself suggests, is a welcoming and very enjoyable refuge.
We liked everything. We stayed in July for two nights to escape the heat of the city and we will certainly return also because from Milan there is a very comfortable bus that takes you to Cervinia in 3 hours.
From the first information call, the courtesy of the staff was among the most attractive elements of the structure.

The common areas are as you would expect in a cabin in winter but also very pleasant in summer: fireplace, soft lights, view of the woods, warm colours.
Our room is a classic category, not very large, but tastefully furnished and with all the comforts and excellent quality linen.
The real gem of the hotel is the restaurant open only for dinner, with a very extensive wine list and standard menu, plus menu of the day, and a selection of grilled meat and fish.
The legendary meats of the Italian north west have surpassed themselves and we ate the best meats of our lives.
There are spas and beauty centers even if they are not the strong point of the structure. Highly recommended.

Our stay and 'was really great and regenerating.
A tribute to the professionalism and experience of the whole team, far better than Resort of similar tenor.
The menu of the restaurant is innovative and varied, excellent and abundant dishes of fish and grilled meat. The sommeliers are prepared.
Rich and refined was the aperitif offered to all guests in August.
Recommendation the Resort also to those seeking confidentiality.
Sincere congratulations!

Every member of staff are awesome and motivated. It’s been so long since we have experienced great service - covid is an excuse for poor service. This hotel rocks - the service is fantastic, the authenticity of the building is unquestionable, the view is easily the best view in the world. This hotel is so good you have no chance of ever getting a reservation- it’s perfect.

We weren't sure what to expect from a summer visit to a winter ski resort. Thanks to the Hermitage: the location, the amenities, the vibe, the food, the team it was a great decision. To be repeated both in the winter and the summer. The walks recommended by Francisco and Nico were great whether to Lago Blu or up on Plan Maison via cable car. Spectacular. Thank you for loaning me sticks too. The Apres- Walk facilities were icing on a rich cake.

The town too is totally charming .We were glad to see it fully recovered from the devastating flood earlier this year. The picturesque golf course under looming Zermatt nestled between the brook and the Alps made me want to take up the sport. All the restaurant recos were spot on.

The food at the hotel was simply fantastic. Whether it was the breakfast where I was indulged by Simone with freshly baked croissants/ cornetti or the snacky lunch out on the lawn for lunch or dinner at the Michelin * ed Le Chantrelle for dinner all made for memorable experiences. The recommended Aosta Vallee wines paired well.

If all that was not enough for a rave review, having the wonderful housekeeper alert Michaela and Nina in the front office that I had left my precious engagement ring behind and then have the GM and Owner Mr. Corrado Neyroz deliver it to me personally in Milan the next day was hospitality, integrity and kindness above and beyond the call of any duty. I will be eternally grateful. Thank you so so much #Team Hermitage.

Tips:
While we had a great view in 83, perhaps 82 in the corner gives you an uninterrupted view of Mt Z. I love to see it at different times under different conditions.
Please have as many meals in La Chantrelle as possible to do justice to the menu and avoid the FOMO feeling I have come back with!

A hotel in which it is really difficult to find faults: perhaps the price, but if you want the best you must also consider that beauty costs money. The structure, although already a few years old, is impeccably maintained. Cleanliness is excellent. The cuisine is truly top: a breakfast with super products and dinners that I still regret now. Particular note of merit goes to the staff, who, in addition to being good-looking, have an extraordinary professionalism, starting from the good young waiters, directed in a masterly manner by Luca, friendly, highly trained, never intrusive, to the reception staff, to the barman, very good.
