We recently stayed at this hotel and had a lovely stay there. It had all the facilities that are needed and was good value for money. The room was perfectly adequate. A comfortable double bed with 2 separate mattresses, nice and warm, plenty of hanging space. the bathroom was a reasonable size (could do with a shower curtain). Breakfast was generous with a good choice, including a choice of cereals, yogurt, cheese, ham, jams, toast etc, scrambled eggs (and you could boil your own eggs!), juice, tea, coffee. Dinner was excellent with a delicious unlimited salad buffet every evening and 4 other courses with a choice for each. They will also address any dietary requirements. I am vegetarian and was always asked what I would like. Christina was a very attentive waitress and all the staff were friendly and efficient.. The lounge/bar was very spacious and we played cards there most nights. There is a spa with sauna, and steam room (jacuzzi wasn't working). The location is excellent and the lifts are easy to get to. There is a good boot room and our boots were nicely heated! All in all, we were very satisfied and would definitely like to return. We believe the hotel is under new management and were very impressed with the way the hotel is run.

Myself and 5 friends have just returned from a weeks ski holiday and stayed at the Hotel Brueil. It was great, friendly staff, great food (especially the evening meals and the great selection of the salad buffet) and comfortable rooms. The location is great for the chair lift and also for apres ...I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for anyone visiting Cervinia.

I feel I have to write this after some negative reviews, and I'm pleased to see others are doing so too. The hotel is a little Italian gem. Great staff who make a real effort to chat even when their first language isn't Italian or English, good, traditional Italian food (my dietary needs were met without any issues), HUGE bootroom, with warm, spacious and comfortable rooms and general areas. Our room overlooked Lino's Restaurant which could be a little loud on some nights (we just closed the windows, problem solved) and waking up to the mighty Matterhorn everyday was amazing! The location is great, just off the main square with a short walk to the Cretaz chairlift or a 10 minute walk to the Plan Maison gondola (a short cut is left out of the boot room & up the slight hill bearing to the right to bring you into the square). Great ski area with access to Switzerland - we had international ski passes so skied there most days. If you can, make the effort to go to Gornergrat using the railway mountain, it's included in your international ski pass. Overall, a fantastic holiday!

Before we left, I read reviews of this hotel and a lot were very unkind. Well, if you are planning a stay here, DO IT. Spacious public areas, comfortable lounges and a friendly bar. The bedrooms are adequate. Well, what exactly do you do in your bedroom! Only thing is, they are very warm, but hey, turn off the heating and open the window! Food is good. Only thing is, they offer you too much, but hey, you don't have to choose every course. Remember you are in Italy and the country reflects the food. The hotel is centrally located, only a few minutes walk from the chairlift which is much better than slogging it to the cable car. The beginners area is very close by as is the sledging area. The staff are fantastic and friendly. They do speak English but appreciate it very much if "si parla in italiano". You know, you are in Italy! If you are from Scotland, remember to stress this to them, you know how it opens doors!!! P.s. they can smell imposters... I can't recommend this place more highly.

Having read some of the previous negative reviews I was a little concerned that my group of 4 had made the wrong choice. Well my experience was totally different. Location as mentioned is great as it’s about 5 minutes slow walk with ski boots & skis from the ski lift. The rooms are adequate in size with enough hanging space for clothes and a key safe to keep valuables. En suite bathroom with bath & shower ( no shower curtain but this was not an issue. Bidet was a nice addition. The beds are really comfortable and the rooms are warm presumably with under floor heating as we did not need to turn on the large radiator in the room. There is a sauna, small gym & steam room which are free, the jacuzzi is not working. The boot room is the biggest I have seen with loads of room.the food is excellent, continental breakfast with cereal , croissants, toast ham & cheese and you can make your own boiled egg plus other pastries & cakes. Dinner is a 5 course event starting off with a delicious salad buffet, soup, pasta, meat course followed by a desert buffet. The staff were charming and really helpful as 2 in the party are vegetarian and so they made additional courses not on the menu, which were not all cheese unlike some other places we have stayed in. Large bar area for playing games in the evening without the need to buy drinks. In short excellent value value for the price we paid.

This hotel is excellently located in Cervinia, around a 120 metre easy walk from the Cretaz Chair Lift (the main chairlift in the centre of the town). It has a warm and friendly vibe, and the staff are delightful. Our rooms were ready as soon as we arrived (before lunchtime) which meant no hanging around. As other reviewers point out, the rooms are fairly basic and a little on the small side but they are perfectly adequate given you are out all day skiing, and the shower is great, with tons of hot water. We were half board, so breakfast and evening meal were included. Breakfast is mostly cereals, breads / croissants and eggs, and the evening meal was 4 courses - certainly plentiful and we found really reasonable, though if you're after a michelin star experience, this would not be for you. For us, the atmosphere was great and we were also offered more 'kid friendly' options for our children which we felt was very kind of them. We literally could not fault the staff at all and would definitely stay at this hotel again. Cervinia itself is lovely - a vibrant place with super skiing if you're intermediate level. Perhaps not challenging enough for advanced skiers, but the pistes are beautifully wide and well serviced by modern lifts on the whole. Plus if you have the budget you can go over into Switzerland. We were lucky as there was no sign of the strong winds and chilly weather that you hear about - we had a week of glorious sunshine. Highly recommended.

First the location is great only reason I have awarded 2 star is the food and service which is not as expected On the first morning I asked the waitress if we could have coffee, I was promptly approached by the waiter and told quite rudely to order direct from him. On one other occasion I put my hand up to attract his attention and was then reprimanded for being impatient and that he would make his way to us in his own time. I also heard him have a go at another customer. The most annoying thing is the absolute speed they serve each course with absolutely no time to chill between the courses On several occasions they were standing over us with the next course as we were finishing the first. I was also told to use the same knife between courses and the dirty knife was dropped onto my plate, I said no but ended up fetching a clean knife myself. Thank goodness for the salad bar as this was a good way of ensuring you hard some sort of vegetable and being full I am afraid the meals were very reminiscent of school diners but with a lack of greens. On one occasion we were given a slice of very dry and cheap pork with powdered potato, which many people had commented on, utterly uneatable It also appears the basmati vinegar is watered down. Ref the room which was fine and well heated but and incident with towel change was not on one occasion. We left a dirty towel in the shower but was not replaced only hung up to be used again If you are unlucky enough to be on the first floor beware of the continuous small of cigarette smoke we think from their office I did mention the above points to our Rep from Inghams who spoke with the solemn Manageress things changed but we decided to eat out instead If by any chance I would revisit this hotel I would most definitely miss the evening meal lack of taste and imagination I will no doubt be given some feedback on my opinions and in my defence will state I have worked for Italian Companies for over 30 years so I know what Italian service and dining experiences should be like. Breakfast was just OK with a very strange machine for boiling eggs which I could not get right The other hot food is just scrambled egg which on most occasions was mush Thank goodness for their very descent coffee and excellent meals on the mountains And some very good ski conditions Rooms are dated, the bar area and lounge very quite but with decent beer

Clean and plenty of hot water. Pleasant staff. Food not so good, we ate out 3 nights. Bar large but lacked any atmosphere and was uninviting. Very poor wi-if even in reception. Long uphill walk to gondola

We stayed at Hotel Breuil with Crystal ski having stayed in Cervinia previously. Hotel lounge areas were lovely. Food was great and I’d been apprehensive based on the reviews. But a choice each day and plenty of it. I’m sure if you had fussy young ones they would do plainish pasta for them. The staff were all fantastic from the restaurant to the reception and the management. A big thank you for making our holiday great!! 😁 Sauna and steam were not charged for but hot tub not working unfortunately. Rooms better than I thought and bathroom pretty new too.

Firstly the location was brilliant. Ski storage was fantastic and the hire shop was great. As a family of 4 we had 2 bedrooms. They were a good size, lots of storage and a good sized bathroom. There was no shortage of hot water and the shower was powerful. The interior throughout is dated but this adds to the charm and it is incredibly clean. Staff at reception were fantastic with strong English skills. Restaurant staff were fabulous, a previous comment mentioned their lack of English. This is an Italian hotel, I expect them to speak Italian and will communicate with them in their language or try and understand them. All staff were fabulous, cleaners, bar tenders, managers, waiters. Everyone. Breakfast was enough eggs and sausage on the hot plate and a massive range of Italian classic breakfast options. Dinner was hit and miss, some nights very typically northern Italian others just a little tasteless, don't have the pizza. I would stay here again without hesitation but would opt out of the evening meal. I rated them 4 stars due the the evening meal, I onew the decor was dated before I booked. Recommended!
