We stayed in a Junior Suite, very spacious with a big bathroom and a nice balcony. They cleaned in the morning and also did a "quick fix" and bed opening in the late afternoon. Everyday the breakfast was outstanding. They serve cheese from the region, great selection of juices and delicious fresh bread and cakes/tarts. The service is very good and the staff very caring and always there to help. The hotel had a nice pool and some other things (unfortunately we could not use it all due to Covid) that look amazing. They have electric mountain bikes for the guests that are awesome. The staff is absolutely great! Always very helpful and willing to help!

A group of 18 active seniors stayed for a week at Hotel Bucaneve February 2020. The hotel was comfortable in every way. The staff was extremely helpful and seemed to be more like family than co-workers. The piano music in the lounge each evening was fun and enjoyable. The bar was great for pre-dinner drink. Breakfast was good, eggs were cooked well, staff was great, just the coffee needs improvement. Dinner is a 5 course 5 star event. A lot of effort goes into the preparation and the presentation. Gabriela is the owner I believe and she takes great pride in her hotel and restaurant.

Everything about this hotel is awesome - great room, great beds and bedding (we stayed in room 221), great reception areas, awesome food, awesome wellness centre. We opted for a half board package, which covered breakfast (hot to order and buffet), afternoon tea and cakes, and a four course dinner with at least 2 choices for every course. Excellent! But what makes this place really special is the staff - from the owner Gabriella (who takes pains to take dinner orders every night from every guest) through to the bar staff, the front desk, the cleaners, the wellness centre staff.

My first time experience in Cervinia, booked for one week mid December. Bucaneve is located in the center of the city next to great restaurants and shops. The slope is close, a quick walk to the lifts. Staff is friendly very knowledgeable always ready to offer advice. Facility is clean, well maintained however furniture and decor a little outdated, it has its own charm. There is a staffed ski locker, can arrange your rental on site which is very convenient. You can also purchase your ski passes from the reception, no need to find the ticket office. Access to slopes is just a short, less than 5 min walk. The hotel has pool, sauna, and massages can be scheduled, very relaxing after a day of ski. The bar and lounge area are other choices to relax or spend some time with friends in front of the fireplace enjoying a drink and the occasional live entertainment. You can opt to have meals included for your stay. I had the breakfast option, food was great, plenty of options, juice machines to prepare your own from fresh fruits and vegetables. They also provide dinner that I am sure is great but I chose to sample the rich restaurant scene around the hotel. Bedrooms are small however we rented a suite that offered a sitting area that adds to the comfort. Bathroom was well equipped they even offered salts for the Jacuzzi. As a family of 4 we loved staying at the Bucaneve 15-22 December. We had 2 spacious adjacent bedrooms with comfortable beds, and separate little seating areas. Good cupboard space. The food was fantastic throughout the week, delicious 4 course suppers with just the right size portions and plenty of options for our one vegetarian. Breakfasts were a feast with lots of choice. We had rented skis through Crystal but realised on arrival we could have used the hotel's own service. We all loved using the wellness area each day, wonderful relaxing area, one of us had a good massage. Everyone who worked at the hotel was very friendly and we felt very at home there. Easy flat walk to the slopes, no more than 3 minutes. Thanks to all the staff and we hope to return to the hotel next year!
