I live in Mantua and decided to spend the night in Padua rather than go for a day trip. Hotel Europa was the only hotel with an available room on the day I went. It's about average for hotels in the Po valley when what you need is a bed, shower, and breakfast. Service seemed fine. I think they speak... More

This hotel is in a great location, beds are comfortable, the water pressure is great, and the food is delicious. However, there were no drawers, shelves, or hangers in the room. The walls are paper-thin, the safe was broken, and some of the staff at the front desk were astonishingly rude and unhelpful.

Yes, this is a hotel that caters to tour groups. I m in one of them and I noticed another American group and a couple of French groups. The breakfast is lively, but the food is good--fresh coffees for the asking as well as an automatic machine, juices, fruits, cheese and ham, cereals, delicious croissants, etc. but the hotel is... The hotel was located centrally and was walking distance from Piazza Garibaldi. Lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel rooms are bit outdated and could use some renovation. The AC is controlled by the reception so you have to keep calling them to switch it on/off. There is no Ventilation in the bathrooms so can get bit hot and... More

Good clean simple rooms in the heart of Padova at a good price. The location can't be beat in the heart of the city. The bed was quite firm but I am finding that is the case in most Italian hotels. Pleasant check in service and helpful front desk. Avoid the hotel dining room. The staff have a don't care... More

In a very good area of the city. Nice Staff but too many tourist groups which creates a lot of noise in the hotel and very noisy due to traffic. All other aspects are average. Nothing gluten free at the breakfast buffet. Wifi was pretty good. Bed was also comfortable. I'm

If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel with a great location, the Europa fills the bill. Just don't look for a modern up-to-date hotel, but rather a clean simple room The location is perfect if you want to tour around the old town. Front desk personnel are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is simple. Parking is one block away... More

Great location, but average hotel. The breakfast wast simple, but enjoyable. Rooms were clean, and service ok. One major fault is the garbage and empty bottle recycling, which is taken out to the street when guests are sleeping; a startling wake up at 5:30 AM. Probably an oversight by management, which should be addressed immediately.

“Top floor has motion lights and it is dark when you arrive there in the elevator. If that scares you, don't go there. ALSO, watch your step on the stairway: there is at least one step at the top that is smaller than the rest and my mom, 82, almost fell because of that!”
