Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here for 5 nights during a cycling holiday. We were a group of six and rented all three rooms. The owners were a delight to deal with. The rooms are beautifully decorated with wood burners in the living area. There is a great bar / restaurant 10 metres from the front gate. Village is very peaceful. At the bottom of the spectacular San Boldo pass. Whole area is beautiful. Recommend for cyclists.

In our way to the Dolomite mountains, in northern Italy, we booked a room in town Tovena, located north of Venice and Treviso, at the foot of the Dolomite. We expected to find a simple room, but we got a palace: a full apartment, 600 years old, completely renovated, with a living room and a fully equipped kitchen (including coffee, etc.) In the first floor, and children's bedroom + huge bedroom for parents in the second floor, a fireplace in the living room and in the kitchen, and all - well designed. Had we known in advance, we would reserve the entire week. Highly recommended !

My husband and I took our two daughters (age 7 and 11mo.) here for what was to be a 5 day stay. We loved it so much, we canceled our 5-star hotel stay in Treviso to get two last days in here. I only wish we had found it sooner! The owners, Janine and Angelo, are incredible. They restored this centurie's old villa themselves and go to incredible lengths to keep guests happy. Janine speaks 4 languages fluently and is always able to tell you where to go for what--maps,markets, dining, shopping, local walking trails, skiing, lakes and outdoor rec. opportunities, just ask. (A handmade booklet was put together for us detailing all the local activities, daytrips, restaurants/reviews upon our arrival.) We are now booking another trip there for Thanksgiving break and hoping there is availability! If you are looking for modern amenities, this may not be for you. No TV, phone, internet...but still everything we could possibly need. It is a fenced in property and as private as you want it to be. Wonderful homemade food and wine available on request (besides the necessities for breakfasts already supplied-all organic/ all homeade.) Outfitted with microwave, fireplace, refridgerator, stoves, full kitchen and living needs: down beds, quilts, blankets, pillows, books, radios, games, baby and children cots...Beautifully styled and perfectly charming.
