The charming Bepe runs his restaurant with a light and friendly touch. He selects only the best fresh ingredients. The kitchen is open and you can see the chefs in action. The menu changes from day to day, always some staple favourites but also market fresh produce. Radicchio was in season when I visited, and there was plenty of this...

We stayed here after a family recommendation and are pleased to say we weren't disappointed. The location is perfect for the centre of Treviso and the airport. On our arrival the owner kindly took charge of the hire car to ensure it was parked on the street next to the hotel as it seems there is limited space available.Check in was...

Our second time in Treviso and had no hesitation in booking here again. This time we asked for a room at the front overlooking the river. It was large, well appointed with quality fittings, and the view was lovely from the 2 windows. Huge comfy bed, TV, mini bar, safe and big bathroom. Perfect! Breakfast was just as delicious as...

The Locanda Ponte Dante is beautifully located next to the river and a few minutes walk from the historic city center. The room was very stylish, the design harmonized well with the old building, with enough space and a large bathroom. Unfortunatley the toilet was not cleaned properly (even though it had the paper banner signalling that it had been...

We stayed here instead of in Venice because it was cheaper and Treviso was a beautiful town in itself. The hotel is located above a restaurant/bar with a view of the river. The bed and room were comfortable and clean. Our host, Pepe, was very enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again but hope they can simplify a complicated free...

We stayed for 2 nights and couldn't have been happier with the accommodation. Not only is it in a great central location, the staff are superbly helpful and the actual building dates back to the 15th century. I would recommend the food in the little restaurant at night, and you can also sit at the front with a coffee or...

Small boutique hotel and trattoria overlooking the river in the city centre. Very welcoming despite our lack of Italian, but we managed. The 15th century building has been sympathetically restored with modern touches alongside original walls and rescues. Only 5 rooms but all the better for it! Beppe and Nadia are great hosts. Highly, highly, recommended.

A nice place in in the University area, in the city center, and really close to one of the offices of Industrial Chamber of Treviso. Friendly service, good food for fair price for value, not in the lower segment. They have also few rooms (I saw in their web page) that look very tidy and particular.

Visited Treviso for 4 nights in October and booked the Locanda Ponte Dante at the last minute but was not disappointed. There is a small number of rooms available but was pleased to find that our room was on the top floor overlooking the canal. The room was perfect in every way, stylish with a comfortable bed and the breakfast...

Booked a last minute trip to visit Venice but flew into Treviso with Ryanair, so decided to stay in Treviso as the hotel prices in Venice were through the roof, plus it’s only a 30-40 minute easy train journey into Venice Santa Lucia Station right on the Grand Canal. And we were so glad we did! It’s easily accessed from...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Overlooking on the oxbow where river Sile joins Cagnan, Ponte Dante Inn is situated in a magnificent and timeless place, quoted by Dante in the Divina Commedia, almost to represent, in the beauty of this glimpse, the entire city of Treviso. One of the most beloved places to Treviso's citizens, where time seems to stand still and the memories of past lives among the secular arms of the trees and the constant flow of water. In the '60s and '70s, Antica Osteria Ponte Dante had become one of the most typical hangouts of Treviso. Today, after years of inactivity, the inn is taken over by Beppe and Fabio Festa Coz, the two hosts of Brolimeglio alley known as "I Naneti", already managers of the homonymous historical inn. The building, whose construction dates back to the fourteenth century, is spread over three floors. On the occasion of the change of management has been fully restored and inside is now possible to find the ancient history of Treviso. During the meticulous restoration, in fact, were found paintings and medieval frescoes, ancient traces of holes and breachs, chimneys and testimonies of older stairs. Five modern rooms have been obtained from the Renaissance palace. The plants, furnishings and also the frescoes found within the showers were left exposed by protecting them with glass walls. Every trace of reinforced concrete has been made disappear and frescoes, along with masonry, have been recovered following the original ancient systems. The antique trace of the building has been refreshed, valuing every finding for guests use. Even the finishes and furnishings has been chosen to reveal as much as possible, the handmade artifacts. To the southwest, the inn offers a lovely and suggestive view of the neighborhood, always animated thanks to its proximity to the University. The same front of the palace, lodge a fresco depicting the monogram of St. Bernardino of Siena, while the facade on Piazza Garibaldi has been cleaned and restored, doing completely reemerge the existing fresco. The ancient Osteria, located on the ground floor, was renewed but maintains its strong impression of tradition, bringing guests to the rediscovery of culinary roots. The strong bond with the land is expressed in seasonal menus, offering the best dishes made of the typical trevisan flavors. The new inn is ready to return to its former glory and to welcome you with the authentic and genuine hospitality of its hosts. Proves to be the best solution for those who want to visit Treviso and its march, breathing fully its perfumes and its traditions. ... more   less
