Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very centrally located near St Marks Square and Ponte di Rialto. Incredibly friendly and accommodating reception staff. Our apartment was spacious, clean, and sound proof with a beautiful Venetian styled interior. It was almost like we were staying in a Palazzo, but then for a very good price 😉

One thing: the apartment was very warm and it was hard to get the temperature down, so we had to open windows during the (December) night.

This apartment was beyond what I expected. Located in the heart of town and close to the market and pharmacy. Safe and secure, with locked gates which can only be accessed by code. Our room was so beautiful and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was all white marble and clearly it was newly remodeled, classy and timeless. Check in was smooth and easy, Davide was great and he gave us some pointers to help us navigate the town. Provided us with numbers for transportation, and information on whatever we asked for. Book with confidence. You won’t be disappointed.

Spotless accommodation beautifully presented. It’s a fabulous location with everything you need right by....supermarket, wine bar and patisserie. Super comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Loved it here. Will go and stay again when I’m back in Venice.

We booked Ai Patrizi through Booking.com from Thursday 1st through to Sunday 4th February. My wife received a booking confirmation and an email saying that someone would meet us at the apartments.

We traveled from the airport by water bus and headed straight to the apartment, however no one was there to let us in. No one answered our many attempts to contact them over the door intercom nor did anyone answer the phone.

A friendly Australian couple who were staying in the apartment let us inside the lobby area whilst they went to get their 'who to contact in case of emergency' details which transpired was the same number we had been trying. They also tried to call for us and no one answered.

Having left the UK for a weekend in Venice we were literally left out in the cold. Luckily we found a room at a hotel but this certainly spoiled our start to our holiday and if this was tourist high season I am not sure what we would have done.

If you want to book a place and risk sleeping on the street, this is the place for you. One star is too much but the option to provide less is not available.

Near water bus and LOTS of little shops and cafes. 15 min to St. Mark’s if you don’t stop in any of the shops along the way!
This worked out really well for us even if we under utilized the kitchen.

Pros - We LOVED the apartment. The location is wonderful and the apartment itself was very nice.

Con - Customer Service - When we arrived we needed to check into the hotel, to get the key to our apartment (we knew this when we booked). The issue was... The first front desk representative said we had to find the apartments on our own. Another gentlemen stepped in and offered to have someone walk us over to the apartments, You NEED someone to walk you over! Due to the water, there is not an "app" that will guide you and the walk is about 15 minutes (along staircases and cobblestones w/ luggage). It is beneficial to know where you are going or it could take much longer. The gentleman that walked us over seemed very irritated to that he was asked to walk us over.
Con - The front desk tried to "over sell" us everything they could (e.g., gondola rides, taxi to the airport, etc). When traveling, you often look to your hotel to give you good recommendations. Our gondolier helped us more than this hotel. Firstly... The hotel told us it would be over 100 euros for the gondola ride (before 6pm), if you walk around Venice you will see signs for 80 euros. Then the hotel told us since our flight was leaving early we should pay 200 euros for morning airport transportation. The Alilaguna gets you there for 15 euros. It was "upsell" after "upsell" and never any real support.

It's a shame that customer service was lacking at this location, because the apartments are wonderfully decorated and wonderfully located.

Stayed for 3 nights.

The apartments are owned by the same group that owns the Ai Reali Hotel (a luxury hotel located a few blocks away from the Ai Patrizi building). This is quite handy since you get 24/7 service in case you need anything and they helped us book restaurants, transportation, etc.

We arrived late at night by water taxi directly to the hotel and they escorted us to the apartments.

Our apartment was located on the 2nd floor and I must say that the quality of the furniture, chandeliers and materials in this apartment are out of the ordinary even for a luxury hotel/vacation apartment.

We had a dining room, kitchen with dishwasher, huge bedroom, beautiful marble bathroom with double sinks and a terrace as well. Everything was spotless and very clean!

The building has a good elevator and we felt safe at all times.

Location is amazing, a few meters to Rialto Bridge on one direction and a few meters on the other to Piazza San Marco. We walked everywhere and there are plenty of restaurants, shops, etc in the area.

Highly recommended!!

Very nice apartment which is near to many amenities and attractions.

Just take Vaporetta 1 from the train station, down the alley with Coop supermarket in your left, continue on, keep left throughout and when you notice a statue in the middle of a square, you will find the apartment on your left.

Highly recommended for a comfy stay in Venice.

We stayed for 4 nights recently. The location of the apartment first of all is very good which is about 3 minute walk from the Rialto bridge and about 8 minutes from St. Marks square.

Even though it is very central the surroundings are very quiet and even with the windows open you won't be disturbed at all. The apartment is spacious, very well furnished, clean and modern and is kept to a high standard. The bathroom is also incredibly clean and modern with good size windows. We asked for a spare bed which was also very comfortable. In general the whole apartment is very well decorated with wooden beam ceiling and modern and homely furniture ( bedside drawer , teapoy, dressing table etc). The rooms are lit nicely with Murano glass chandeliers and again big windows (with blackout blinds as well). The apartment also has several full size mirrors. All of which made for a very good stay.

The reception staff Roberto and Marian were exceptionally nice and were always helpful! The house keeping staff were also nice and friendly. They all made our stay even better!

There is a Coop and Despar (grocery stores) located very close also numerous restaurants and other shops. The Rialto market ( for fresh fruits, veg , meat or fish) is also nearby, about 8-10 minutes away by crossing the Rialto bridge.

The apartment entrance is quite small and if you are not looking closely you might just miss it. When you arrive at Campo Manin at one end you have the canal running alongside it. The hotel is located at the opposite end of Campo Manin and is located next to a shop called Italosport. Finding spaces like this in general is particularly difficult in Venice and so look out for the door number 4255.

My wife and I visited Venice for 3 days to attend a friends wedding. We can't recommend highly enough the gorgeous apartment we stayed in. It was no 6 on the second floor at the apartments. It was stunningly appointed, beautifully decorated. The bed was enormous and so comfy . Bathroom was sumptuous and had an enormous bath for 2 and the shower was fantastic too. The apartment had a lounge, and kitchenette . It felt like we were staying in real luxury and it was all 5 minutes from the Cavalli Pallazzo on the grand canal and a few minutes amble to St Marks square . It was really peaceful and quiet as well considering how close to the center of Venice it was located. The other districts are all within walking distance and Academia and the Peggy Guganheim museum are not far from the apartments either. Loads of lovely restaurants and squares where you can sit and have a coffee and watch the world go by are close too. Thank you for making our trip to Venice so special and it made us feel like film stars staying there !

Hi, we had purchased a 72 hour travel ticket which allowed us to use the bus and vaparetto's. We didn't find it too much of a hassle getting the vaparetto from near the apartment/hotel and then the bus to the airport. Vaparetto's and buses were very frequent; it was a good service.
