Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here for our last night in Venice as a little splurge, booked a deluxe double with balcony, to our surprise on arrival we were given an upgrade to a junior suite by the lovely staff on reception. Words just couldn't do this room justice, having stayed in castles and beautiful hotels in the past I have never stayed in nicer than this junior suite. The ceiling height, chandelier, space, coffee machine and two great big windows over the canal, it was absolutely breathtaking. As for the staff, whatever they are paying them they deserve more! Each and everyone we met couldn't do enough to make our stay more comfortable, from an amazing breakfast to offers to hold luggage after our check out, nothing was too much trouble. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Venice and such a good location for Rialto bridge and san Marco. Loved it.

Scammers - Do not Stay Planned to stay October but due to strike air and rails were shut down. Hotel refused to refund any of the stay (even though 2 of three nights were outside of cancellation window). Now have to pursue legal action. Nasty dishonest people do not give them your money.

From the moment we arrived at Palazzo Paruta, we were impressed. The staff were so friendly and our room was greater than what we could've imagined. So elegant, spacious, and comfortable - we felt like royalty! The breakfast was also delicious. Palazzo Paruta is perfectly situated in between our planned activities. 10/10 would go back and recommend!

We stayed in the "Royal Apartment with Jacuzzi Suite" in the separate building they own just across the Campo San Angelo. This building was easy access and this unit was on the 3rd floor walk up, though very big lovely staircase. The Apartment is a rarity in size and many of the hotels have some "old venician styles" and this was modern and very nice. Nice walk-in shower, bidet, bar station with wine fridge nespresso coffee maker and tea pot. The jet tub room with nearby window was awesome not gimmicky. Also a king bed is hard to come by. Pillows were a little stiff but fine. These apartments don't have full room service, but they did refresh towels. The area is near enough to Saint Mark's but in a quieter corner. The nearby restaurants below were convenient and quite good. A taxi or ferry to San Angelo dock is a mere 5 min walk with only two small arch bridges to walk over. The hotel has a small courtyard next to small lobby but we didn't use. Overall we loved it, prices vary on timing, but we'd book again.

The staff and locations are the highlight to this wonderful property. They take care of your every wish and make sure your stay is remarkable. The location can not be better. Easy access to shopping, dining, and St. Mark's. Easily walkable and plenty to do! As for cons, the beds are extremely hard, even by European standards, so be ready! Also, as Venice goes, it's old. So, there is a sewer gas smell, but that comes with an old European city. You become accustomed to it, but it will knock you back when you first walk indoors. Overall, a great place as a base of operations in Venice!

The team at the Palazzo could not be anymore accommodating with our requests and were very pleasant. Rooms were exceptional, breakfast set you up for the day and the bar terrace was a great place to unwind with a glass of processco after sightseeing all day.

It was our first time visiting Venice and we stayed in the wellness apartments and found the hotel, staff and apartments way above our expectations. The apartment itself was tastefully modernised but kept its old school charm. Perfect locations to explore Venice!
