We just spent one night at Bb Rialto and it was a really lovely place and it was a pleasant experience. While the bathroom is shared with another room, we had no problem coordinating schedules for showering! My girlfriend and I enjoyed a glass of prosecco sitting on the terrace with a great view on the Canal Grande! The new...

This place has an unbelievable view; it is clean and well taken care off. The only downfall for this place is the back breaking stairs when you have to carry the language on check-in and check-out. I highly recommended for people with no back issues

I was disappointed with this place. I stayed here for five days. I just thought it would look a bit more glamorous and for me it felt quite cheap and basic. The reviews were glowing about it on here and I just expected a bit more glamour for my money.

Luciano really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed or wanted. He had prepared little baskets of treats and champagne to celebrate the New Year. Every day we had a tray in the fridge & basket on the counter with snacks and food. He really made our stay better and easier for us by explaining...

What a superb B & B. We stayed for 4 nights during March/April 2016. Our accommodation was Torcello family room with windows that overlook the Grand Canal. The room and the shared living area was kept spotless on a daily basis. I really enjoyed making cappuccino on the coffee machine for breakfast every morning, my first time. Luciano is a...

The B and B is clean and comfortable. When in Venice you're not going to be spending your time indoors at your hotel. You're going to be exploring and sight seeing. The location is perfect right on the grand canal near the Rialto Bridge. We had the upstairs loft with 2 queen beds and private bathroom. We travelled with an...

From the time the hotel manager greets you at the Vaporetto (boat/bus) stop to the time you head back to the airport to leave you are in an Italian wonderland of food, culture and people. Luciano is the manager and he is a phone call away if you need him. Otherwise, you are left alone at the hotel as if...

The room is big and they serve a nice breakfast with fresh coffee. Location is awesome and you can enjoy the real fish market in the morning. The price is good and we will definitely come back. Before we came here, we thought that there might be something wrong with the offer, unfortunately it was the cheapest hotel and the...

Light breakfast provided which is enough to start the day. Best location, next to Rialto mercato, only 2 minute walk to vaporetto station, and access to many attraction. Luciano is very welcoming. Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
