Stayed here for 4 nights which was just enough to explore this beautiful city.
Hotel was beautiful, rooms were clean and spacious. Only downside was having to ring reception every time you wanted your air conditioning turned on or off or adjusted. The only problem here was our phone in the room didn’t work and after numerous requests to get this fixed we just gave up which meant going to reception every time we wanted something. Not ideal. Tv remote didn’t work even on request for a new one but didn’t come here to watch tv so no big issue there.
Breakfast was really nice but had to be taken in the sister hotel next door due to social distancing.
Ironing room available on the 4th floor which was really helpful as no travel irons/hair straighteners/ travel kettlebell allowed to be used in the room due to fire risk.

Location was excellent and on the doorstep was the Vaporetto stop.

Avoid the tourist trap restaurants around St Marks square etc as you can find great food at cheaper prices if you just go off the beaten track a bit. We learned the costly was for dreadful food.

Gondola rides €80 up to 6 people but if you don’t want to share a ride With strangers it’s pricey for 30 mins.
The hotel can book trips for you at reasonable prices.

Venice was busy but I can only imagine how packed it would be pre covid times with cruise ships, tourists from the states and the Far East. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day.

Staid here for three nights and would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful. The rooms were a good size with king size beds that were really comfortable, the bathroom was a bit tired however the shower was good and very clean just like the main room. Breakfast was included and served from 7-10.30 there was a good selection and again the service was good.
The location was great, right next to the water bus stop direct from the bus station. There were plenty of shops and good restaurants nearby and all the main destinations were easy to get to from here.

We enjoyed our stay in Pesaro Palace due to its absolutely convenient location being close to nearly all landmarks and public transportation. Our windows faced the Grand Canal and the inner court with a smaĺl garden but the noise did not disturb us at all. All the staff did their best to please the guests. The bed was big and
comfortable with high quality linens, and we were impressed by the way the room was furnished and with the Murano glass chandeliers both in the room and the bathroom. The bathroom was spacious with all sorts of toiletries, and what is more - it had both a bathtub and walk-in shower.
All in all, the breakfast was quite good but we were really missing natural yogurt.
We didn't mind some interiors looking tired as it's a good way to feel "the good old days" of Venezia and its palazzos with their special style and atmosphere.

Would have got 5 stars but for the mistake / confusion, being given the wrong type of room at check in. I had originally booked a suite via Booking.com, with balcony overlooking the Grand Canal, but on arrival we were given a room with a canal view but no balcony, and it was not a suite nor the room I’d booked and paid for on Booking.com. I spoke to the receptionist straight away, who told me that the property only had one suite and that that room was already taken. I was given another room, which was a much larger room with balcony on the canal, but this was a room not a suite. The hotel receptionist told me that the original room and current room were both ‘suites’ but as far as my definition of a ‘suite’ was concerned, a suite should have more than one room. Anyway, despite probably having being charged for a suite and only getting a room, we left it as we were happy with our new room.
The location of the hotel is excellent, with its own boat dock and next to a vaporetto stop. It is a short walk to the Rialto bridge and overlooks the Rialto market on the opposite side of the canal. Breakfast wasn’t being served at the time we visited due to social distancing, but it was served in the hotel next door, The Foscari Palace. Breakfast was ok but nothing to write home about. All in all we had a good stay, but would definitely check next time if we booked again to make sure we were getting a suite when we booked one.

We've seen some really mixed feedback about the PP but can only speak as we found it and it was great.

The hotel is small and doesn't offer the same facilities as the likes of the Bauer or Gritti Palace but its comfortable and the staff were great. Because of Covid breakfast was served around the corner at the sister hotel which was busy but fine.

We stayed in a junior suite which was large and spacious, but had no view. Not really as a problem as we spent little time in it. Its also in Cannaregio which is much overlooked and is a great part of Venice to explore.

The hotel arranged transport via Water Taxi from the airport which cost 120 and is a great way to arrive in Venice. Ask the driver to bring you in through the Arsenale and up the grand canal giving you a first view of the Doge's Palace and Campanile.

Hotel is also right next to the Ca D'Oro Vapo stop which is great for getting about.

My wife and I have stayed at the Pesaro for many years and it was always convenient, well-kept and breakfast was quite acceptable. This last stay we had to walk over bird droppings as we came onto the property. The carpet was worn in the main entrance and the carpet outside our room was worn, rumpled and dirty. The soap was so teeny, tiny it slipped out of my hand and the bathroom door didn't close and it was missing a metal pc on the jamb. Breakfast was at sister hotel which I assume saves money. We told them we would be checking out a day early, however, were still charged for the day.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The furniture is antique-chique and the staff is nice. The breakfast is a continental one, with suffice variety of products and the wifi has a good coverage. It is right next to the boat stop.
However, it wasn't until I tried to have a bath that problems started to appear: a handful of hairs were in the tub, the mini champoo was halfway through, there were some towels missing and the waist bin was deliberately emptied to make you believe the the clean up was made.
I went to the reception to ask for the clean up of the bathroom but they had no one to do it at that late hour, neither another room available. The young receptionist suggested to clean it himself and he would talk to his supervisor about this. I accepted but requested that in the next morning they have to solve it. He was horrified when he saw it.
The next day the other receptionist wasn't aware of the problem, so, after I explained again, she suggested that I stayed in the same room, but the cleaning would be done this time, solution I refused. I asked to be accommodated in another room or for the refund, and then reluctantly she accepted changing the room, once they only had superiors rooms available.
In spite of that, I ended in a smaller room, without any further amenities, with less furniture, but at least the bathroom was apparently clean.
When we sum this up to a non well thigh shower, to beds done using only the bottom sheet, dirty blankets, broken doors and broken elevator screen, bedroom air conditioning controled only by the reception, bath foams in a one shollwer bathroom and one courtain's windows, I wonder how can this be a 4 stars hotel, that it's paid as so...

The hotel is clean and the staff is quite friendly. Some of them were not friendly at all. We asked to leave the key for the night (because it is huge and impossible to carry around) and they kindly said that that was no issues. However, their system for collecting the key is that the put all the keys on the reception disk, unattended. When we got back after our dinner, there was no one around and 6 keys to different hotel rooms was just left there. Since this means these hotel rooms are empty (you only get one key per room) this is a huge security risk for valuable belongings.

Breakfast was okay, situated at a closeby hotel.

The rooms were clean, however the room smelled strongly of mold. The AC was impossible to turn off. It was set at 25 degrees celsius but it was probably something more like 17 or 18. It was so freezing that we had to sleep with our window open to let in some warmth. The issues then were the mosquitos.

Spent 3 nights here and were not disappointed.
The plus points. Location location location. Right on the Grand Canal, just 6 stops from bus station (airport) 5 stops from train station. Vapareto stop is right outside the hotel
Friendly reception staff checkin was done in less than 3 mins. Room (205) certainly had the wow factor. You could glimpse the grand canal from the open window
Just a few steps away from Main Street with shops bars and restaurants
Breakfast was typical continental breakfast but sufficient to set up up for the morning
Reasonable well sound proofed room
Good WiFi. Throughout hotel
Minor criticisms.
The in-room shower room/toilet was up a flight of stairs. A bit of a pain if need to go in the middle of the night. We had to leave bathroom light on all night so as could find our way up to it
Also a few steps up when you open the room door so clearly not suitable if you have any mobility issues
The fridge was broken when we arrived but this was replaced. The hotel website states in room mini bar. There wasn’t one
We were given bath foam but no bath and only given shampoo in last day We had our own so no big deal
One power socket was broken so no bedside light on one side some of the light switches work but in need of repair
They provide thin plastic cups which we broke 2 just trying to unwrap…. Not a good environmental issue
There is a bar but never open however reception staff will get coffees and I assume other drinks if you ask
Major issue. NONE

Would we recommend YES
Would we return. YES

I thought I had researched well; the reviews seemed good, pictures, location and the price all indicated an authentic venue on the waters edge. However I’m now realising it’s a bit more of a Fawlty Towers vibe. Room smells damp and is a bit creepy. We have no view at all. The condensation on the window doesn’t help but we are set way back from the canal. The location however is good and has a water bus stop right outside. I wouldn’t stay here again unless it was free or at least half the price. Luckily it’s only for two nights before heading to Rome.

Can we get a water taxi from airport straight to hotel?

Yes you can. The water taxi rank is under the airport and will deliver you right to the front door of the hotel The water bus station is right out side so travelling around could not be easier. Have a great stay.

Sorry, I just have seen your question by now. I can tell for the rooms overlooking the canal (but I think they call them suite), these ones have a separate walk- in shower.

The hotel is right on the grand canal. It’s a bustling waterway and the main source of travel around Venezia. I wouldn’t say it’s overly noisy but it definitely isn’t quiet. The sounds make up the whole vibe of Venezia so enjoy it all the same!
