Very nice off the beaten path bed and breakfast. Mateo went out of his way to make our stay excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and well appointed for a downtown location. A little tricky to find but (while I did not see it before I arrived) Mateoeven provided walking directions from the water taxi drop off.

We had 3 nights stay in Venice and Residenza la Loggia was fantastic! One-of-a-kind room was beautiful, decorated in a traditional Venetian style, very detailed (see photos). Tasty breakfast delivered to the room each morning with fresh coffee and croissants. Very helpful and professional service. Mini bar in the room and very good wifi. Coffee/tea facilities in a reception area available. Very good location. Before we arrived I have received an email with video of how to find them which was very helpful. If I ever return to Venice Residentza La Loggia would be my first choice.

We have returned to this hotel a year after our first visit because we felt so comfortable and well looked after the first time. It was good value for money and in a great location half way between San Marco and the Rialto. Would do it again!

We stayed there because the reviews were great. The location is extremely central and the room is nice. However we had a horrible experience. There were bed bugs in our room (yellow room). At first we did not know that it was bed bugs and mentioned there were black bugs to reception who said they would check. The night after, the reception said it should be ok but the bugs were still there (we took pictures and showed a video to the reception). After we left, we made a few phone calls and did web searches and understood that it was bed bugs (we have zero doubt). We emailed the hotel two days ago to inform them and suggest they take measures and have not heard back from the hotel. We stayed in the yellow room in the photos. I would recommend not to go there until there is confirmation that the bugs are out. We have been spending a my of time since we left washing and drying all our stuff from Venice and so far so good. Had their not been bugs we would have given the hotel a 5 star review.…

Excellent gem of a hotel in Venice, staff were lovely and helpful and the room was wonderful. Fab location and walkable to main points of interest. The room was spotless and the breakfast was good. Rooms old fashioned but quirky and great. Thank you!

We stayed here recently and completely adored it. The welcome from staff was warm and friendly ...like greeting old friends... and they even put up with us attempting to speak Italian. The room itself was venetian beauty at its best. We were in room 7...the red room. It’s very tastefully decorated in a traditional style, very romantic and comfortable. The bathroom was nice...especially the shower which was amazing. Breakfast was served in the room each morning which was fresh and very generous. A great start to the day. Thank you so much Matteo and all of the staff for taking such good care of us. This was our 6th trip to Venice and definitely our favourite. We were greeted by very helpful staff members. The room was very clean and we had breakfast delivered to our room each morning. Location was perfect and a place I would highly recommend. If we return to Venice, we will definitely stay there again. Great value!

We stayed at Residenza La Loggia on our first trip to Venice - the most outstanding feature of this hotel is the location. Minutes from St Mark's Square and the Rialto bridge means that it's the perfect base for exploring Venice. The room was lovely, quiet comfortable. It had all the facilities we required including a private en-suite. Breakfast was served in our room each day with a good selection of food and drink. The staff were very friendly, polite, helpful and accommodating. We would have no hesitation in recommending/visiting again. Thanks for helping make our first trip to Venice a memorable one!
