Dear Deborah, thank you so much for all the useful information about our hotel: future customers who will read will be very advantaged! When you want, come back to Venice to visit us: we are waiting for you!
10 minutes from St Marks and 5 minutes from the Rialto. A small but charming hotel, vertical with many floors and small rooms. Just what I expected of old Venice. Helpful staff. Good breakfast but coffee could be better.

Dear Matty, thanks for yourn indications: they will be very useful for future customers who will book. If you come back to see us, we'll wait for you with open arms! Happy New Year!
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.

Hi, you've gotten excellent advice about how to get to Centauro Hotel from the airport. I just want to caution you that the sign for the hotel is EXTREMELY SMALL! You really have to look for it once you arrive at the square with the statue in it. It will be flat against the ball and above eye level. Enjoy your time in Italy!
If you booked the double superior with canal view of course you will have the room with view. If not we can only check availability when you will arrive. In case of upgrade there will be an extra charge.
