The Hotel Antiche Figure is inside a beautiful XV-century building overlooking the Grand Canal, very close to the main entrances of the city, Piazzale Roma (Bus Station, parking, and transfers to/from Marco Polo and Treviso airports), Central Trains Station (S. Lucia), Venice Shore. It's the ideal starting point to experience the atmosphere between 'calli' and 'campielli' (narrow streets and little squares).

My friends and I had a wonderful few days in Venice at the Hotel Antiche Figure in mid December. My room was upgraded to a beautiful canopy bed room as, unfortunately, many guests had cancelled due to fear of floods. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming, providing advice on restaurants and recommending we "get lost" in Venice and not use GPS. Breakfast was also great.

The location near the train station worked out well for us, with only one bridge to carry luggage over! We did experience some of the high tides but have come prepared with the waterproof boot coverings ($12 on amazon). In all, would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the hotel to others.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Antiche Figure last year. It was actually the beginning of March.

It was just before the pandemic started to sweep through, so we were lucky to be able to visit.

And what a visit it turned out to be. From the very start the check in was smooth and very welcoming. We decided to upgrade to the Junior Suite with Grand Canal view after they offered a price I could not pass on. I mean...how many times are you in Venice? I am one that thinks paying for views in a room is a sucker move as it is just the place I am storing my luggage and sleeping. This time though, worth it.

The breakfast there is plentiful and fresh with the same attentive and friendly service you can expect from any of the staff.

The hotel is directly across from the train station and therefore perfectly located for easy access to all the vaporetto (water bus) lines.

Even though it is close to a central travel hub, it is not busy in front of the hotel and never noticed any overbearing noises. In fact, at night we would open all the windows and enjoy the night breeze and sounds. Also, for those who wonder, we never experienced any overwhelming bad smells on our entire trip. I noticed some people complaining about the smells of Venice. I noticed nothing unusual from this ocean bound town.

The bathroom in the suite was immaculate and quite large for a European hotel. Again, it was a suite, so I can't speak on the other rooms.

The bed was comfortable and the room had all the conveniences one would need when traveling. I was able to set up my CPAP machine with no problems.

For the relatively low price of this hotel I was expecting much less, I will admit. But now my wife and I are wondering if there is any reason to stay anywhere else on our next trip to Venice!

In my research I still have found no hotel that can surpass Antiche Figures combination of price, location, hospitality and beauty.

Dear Demskyr, we thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to know that you had a great time with us. Satisfation of our guests is our goal. In summer time due to a natural process ( sun, water, and seeweed) on some days we can have a particular smell around our narrow alleys, absolutely harmless, but it is part of our unique wonderful city. If you plan to come back in Venice, please use the code "backhome" from our website and you' ll grt the best possible price, Best regards

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel as though we were the first and the only guests the hotel had ever received. The room was quite beautiful with fantastic views of the Grand Canal from two aspects and very spacious for a city centre hotel. The facilities in the room and bathroom were what you would expect in a hotel which clearly prides itself on high standards. Choice of breakfast is great and the team working this shift are attentive and very friendly. The real winner with this hotel is the team of employees working to ensure your stay is appreciated, they are on hand 24/7 to offer advice and recommend good restaurants and how to plan your visit. If you are browsing through Trip advisor looking for your next place to stay then you can stop now!!!! This is the perfect choice. We will certainly return to our new favourite place.

We stayed for three nights at this hotel. Location is close to public transport so easy to get to and from the airport- we went via bus. Staff were very helpful and provided a map and restaurant recommendation. They had umbrellas for guests to use when it rained.
When we arrived we were given the choice to upgrade to a canal view room for an extra charge- usually when there are rooms free other places will allow free upgrades where possible but we had to pay. Not sure the upgrade was worth it because there are only small windows in the room so not exactly a good view of the canal.
Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice.
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Would stay again.

I went at Antiche Figure with my boyfriend for a romantic escape, and we were delighted by the experience: first, the location is the best for those who want to roam around Venice without carrying their bags around, the station is right in front of the hotel, but it doesn't sound busy, you can still hear the sound of water and seagulls.
The room was perfectly cosy and clean, it smelled nice, and the bed was tidy and super comfortable. We had a very generous breakfast, you can find both classic continental stuff (eggs, ham and cheese) and super tasty local treats and cakes. Everything very clean, they were super careful with covid-19 restrictions. They were also very helpful via email before our arrive (I asked them for a room with a bathtub and they kindly find it for us). We were definitely very happy of our stay at Antiche figure!

The staff were outstanding - they couldn’t have been more helpful - accommodating us at the last minute and showing us their available room before we actually booked it.
Our suite in the annexe doubled as a family room with a dividing door between the two rooms. The great quality sofa bed converted into a large comfortable double.
The en-suite was excellent and the decor throughout was lovely.
There was a really good choice at breakfast.
This hotel is such a great find in a fantastic location, run by staff who really seemed to care about their guests.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. First of all the location is perfect, right by Piayyale Roma and Santa Lucia train station saving a lot of time and effort carrying luggage around the narrow streets of Venice. The room is extremely comfortable and well decorated with the vintage touch adding charm to the place. The Burano glass in the bathroom is divine. Service is top notch and they really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend it!

We first picked this hotel based on its close location to the train station, making it super convenient to connect with the train from to our home base in Rome, yet nicely separated from the hussle and bussle of the station by the Grand Conal, with a tiny piazzetta adjacent to the hotel for delighttful morning breakfasts in the outside breezy canal air, and supplying interesting scenery and people watching opportunities. Our first visit we immediately connected with the welcoming staff, learning their names and a bit about their backgrounds. They were super helpful and friendly and recognized us easily a year later when I called for a reservation. They gave us a quiet back room on the top floor and surprised us with a free private taxi ride to Murano avoiding the longer packed water bus trip. The bathroom is tiny but very modern and efficient, and we had nice views of both the canal and the rooftops of the island from the two windows. We loved everything about this place, but it was the people connection that pulled us in. We hope to return in the future.

I cannot praise this hotel and it’s wonderful staff enough ! From start to finish ... exceptional ! We had a beautiful spacious room overlooking the grand canal and it really was fabulous , I totally loved it . The decor was quaint Italian with a stunning marble bathroom with double sinks and murano glass lighting ... perfect to relax in the bath in the evening with a glass of wine . The room was a corner junior suite with 4 windows and had a huge comfortable bed , seating area to look over the grand canal , fridge , tv , slippers etc. Breakfast was lovely outside with a wide choice of foods brought to your table . We asked for more pillows as my partner had a bad rib injury just before we left the Uk , and these were brought immediately along with a kettle at my request for my morning tea . I also had mosquito bites (no fault of the hotel and upon mentioning it at breakfast the lady on reception sent up some anti mosquito wipes and a plug in repellent . Excellent and much appreciated. We only wished we could have stayed longer than 2 nights but we had plans to stay in the Lido . The reception and waiting staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect . We will recommend to all and most definitely this hotel will be on top of my list for our next holiday to Venice . Amazing ! 10 out of 10

This was our second visit, but in Covid days in rather different circumstances.
The hotel is on The Grand Canal opposite the Station and near the bus terminus at Piazzale Roma - with just two bridges to cross.
The standard rooms are not large but are of sufficient size and the bathrooms are excellent. Humming aircon noise bothered my wife in the first night - the staff couldn't have been move accommodating and we moved for a small premium to one of the best rooms in the hotel on the fourth floor.
The breakfasts, under difficult circumstances, were wonderful. We ate al fresco in the space between the hotel and the church next door. Much more relaxed and pleasurable that I had anticipated. The family owners are doing a GREAT job!

20-30 minute walk with a number of steps going over bridges. Beautiful stroll and loads to see along the way. Antiche Figure is perfectly located on the grand canal with bridge nearby to cross (very few bridges cross). Great staff, absolutely beautiful rooms. Highly recommend!!

The nearest vaporetto stop is Ferrovia Stop and it is next to Scalzi Bridge. We are located the other side of the Grand Canal but crossing Scalzi Bridge you can easily reach Ferrovia Vaporetto Stop. Approx. 200/250 metres from our hotel. Looking forward to welcoming you in our hotel, best regards, Alessandro Fornasier Manager Hotel Antiche Figure
