I spent 1 night at Ca' del Nobile with my girlfriend. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location a close to San Marcos. Plenty of options for dinning around the area. Basic but good breakfast.

Our first time visiting Venice staying for two nights. We picked Ca' Del Nobile after reading reviews on Trip Adviser and were not at all disappointed. We arrived in Venice by private water taxi which although was very expensive it was very convenient. It dropped us at the Rialto bridge stop and we walked to Ca del Nobile from there....

The first time that we have visited Venice and it worked out perfectly for us. Blue skies and no queues for all the attractions that Venice has to offer. We picked Ca' Del Nobile after reading reviews on Trip Adviser and were not at all disappointed. We followed the instructions received from Lilian and found it easily, with immediate access at...

We enjoyed our two days stay in this mini hotel. It positioned right in the centre of the Venice where you could reach anywhere. Beware that you can easily get lost and Google would be a little of help as Internet coverage is poor on the streets. Really clean and well furnished, calm and peaceful. Highly recommend.

Upon arrival into the airport we bought return tickets via the waterbus into Venice. Nice and easy, the waterbus was lengthy- almost 1.5 hours- we got off the stop at St Marks Square, this is the closest to the hotel. We had previously looked on google maps at how to navigate from the square to the hotel as it is...

Positioned just a couple of minutes stroll from the main San Marco square, it was in exploring distance of all of central Venice, making it a perfect base for a romantic, long weekend get away. The room was immaculately clean (and cleaned every day), the bed was comfy and it felt like a very intimate little place. Only slight downside...

As there are no elevators to this 2nd/3rd floor inn, it would be advisable if you do not have huge (or too many pieces of) luggage, which you have to pull up the stairs. Breakfast is generally the same everyday, but even after 5 days, we did not mind it - as the items served are of good quality and...

But wished I stayed longer. Great central location. Beautifully decorated and very romantic rooms with high ceilings. Staff was great and accommodative. Great place for a romantic weekend or just a great base for experiencing Venezia. Highly recommended. I will be back for sure.

Staying in San Marco

Neighbourhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
