Great hotel for a base easy to get to on the water taxi from the airport and also close to the train station. The staff are all really helpful and the hotel is spotlessly clean. There is a little cafe next door and a few restaurants on the same street. Lots more a 10-15 walk away or you can get the water bus - we walked most places but got a day pass for the further away places/other island. The room was gorgeous, we had a canal view - only downside was the bed was very hard!

Good: -Very nice and comfortable room. -Reception till 20:00, so make sure you have a pass. -Friendly personnel and great local to delicious treats. -Very quiet hotel. -2 min from public transport. Bad: -Was not a comfy pillow. -Check-in at 14:00 and check-out at 11:00. Uncomfortable time for me ;) Need to walk with luggage around if you come early morning.

A really nice hotel, in a really good location to explore Venice. The hotel is about three minutes off of the main tourist route around Venice, so benefits from being close, without being noisy or busy outside. Really beneficially that it is close to the train station and taxi drop off points, so easily walkable with luggage. Really nice character to the building, with good decor in the rooms in keeping with the classic style. The chap behind the reception desk was really helpful. The room was slightly small, but to be expected in an older building. No breakfast on offer, but didn't really concern us.

Having stayed at this hotel twice before and enjoyed it we were very disappointed with their new business model. It is really not like a hotel anymore but just rooms (Air B&B style) with an occasional receptionist and lacking normal hotel facilities. Previously, breakfast was available by the canal but, sadly, no more. In addition tea and coffee making facilities were not available in the room or elsewhere at the property. Also, the roof terrace was closed during our stay. No mini-bar but a fridge was available in the room. The rooms are classically decorated with good air con. If you want just a room in a good position near the canal it’s ok.

Nice hotel in quiet neighborhood. Of note for reference: if you book here, make sure you arrive between 9-2…as the front desk closes at 2:00! They did provide email instructions for how to get in, but door code jammed and we would never have gotten in without help of a neighbor who knew the owners and could call them!!! Nice accommodations and clean!

The hotel is quite conveniently located, about aa 10-minute easy walk from the station, and also within walking distance to other sights. The staff were friendly and nice in explaining things and answering our questions. We had a good stay and loved how quaint and cute our room looked. One thing though - there was no lift in the hotel, so going up and down the stairs with our luggages was a little difficult (though we managed).

Fantastic little hotel in the Cannaregio area. Positioned on the Fondamenta Cannaregio by the side of the canal. A quick 200 yard walk from the Guglie water bus stop direct from Marco Polo airport, no bridges and no turns to worry about when you have your cases. Close enough to the railway station too, about a 15 minute walk but you do have to negotiate the Guglie bridge. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful with enough of an understanding of English to make communication easy. The rooms, although small, are clean and pleasant with a nice en suite bathroom. You won't always get a view, but it's not really a worry. Continental breakfast in the small breakfast area is nice in the morning, before taking a short walk to the heart of Venice, aided by a decent map provided free by the hotel. Enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again at those prices.

Located walking distance from the train terminal and the bus station, this was a great place to stay to not have to bother with water taxis and lines for them. The hotel is on the small side, with only 14 rooms. Our bed took up most of the space in our room and there were no luggage racks. Three small shelves in the closet worked for us but had our clothing not been in ebags, not sure where we would have put our things. Our ceiling had a skylight that we could close at night with a switch on the wall. We could also open and close the shutters outside our window for day and night. Breakfast was odd. They brought out two croissants, one for each of us, and we could help ourselves to cereal and yogurt. There were some crackers on each table. Coffee and hot chocolate were offered. I got the impression they really didn't have a kitchen to prepare any food ...but didn't ask. The water taxi stop to get to the airport was just a few doors down from the hotel which was super convenient. All in all this hotel offered a great location and a clean and quiet room.
