As others have said, perfectly placed between Accademia and Zattere, so very practical. Has retained something of the simplicity of its origins, so there is no luxury, but the comfort, cleanliness and service that makes one's stay (7 nights in our case) pleasant. The view...More

We stayed here on our way to and from Croatia. The trip from the airport is easy - one (long but beautiful) boat ride (Alilaguna, direct from airport terminal), which helps if you have luggage and don't like getting lost while jet lagged. The ferry...More

Love this place. Easy access from the Academia vaporreto stop. No stairs and quick walk. Lovely rooms. Single beds, but couples understand options. Very convenient to key historic and top chicetti locations.

Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with
street artists, students, painters, sculptors,
restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and
heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's
collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for
evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries
cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica
buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob
