We booked this hotel based on the reviews from tripadvisor .It is less than a 5 min walk to Piazza San Marco and Palazzo Ducale ,very close to the Rialto water bus/ vaporetto stop. Next to a Guess retail store, it had restaurants, coffee shops , a grocery and a hair salon in its vicinity. We booked a junior suite... More

I truly liked this place, it is in the smack middle of Venice so nothing is far from the hotel. Nice coffee shop to the right of the hotel. All the gondola rides and tour meeting points are within a block from the hotel. The rooms were nice and elegant. Only minor issue I had was that there were no... More

This is a very pleasant place to stay at Venice. Service is very good and people helpful. We like the decoration and the style of the room and lobby / bar. Rooms are comfortable. Could be bigger but it's always like that in Italy! Anyway this is a good place to be to visit Venice all around.

This hotel is conveniently located on a few metres of Rialto bridge, and the stop of the waterbus. This is just excellent. No dragging of suitcases through the crowded streets of Venice. Rooms are not extremely big, but they are well decorated, and everything you need is there. I like the bathroom, but no separate shower and bath (you shower... More

The room and bathroom were quite spacious by European standards. It's just a block off the Grande Canal, close to the Rialto Bridge, and a short walk to Piazza san Marco. The staff was very helpful and spoke good English. The rooftop Garden was lovely. Breakfast was quite good. And the price was reasonable for what we got! I would... More

This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful (we had problems with our electronic door key the first night and they were fantastic), the room was lovely, and the breakfast excellent. In addition, the location was perfect, just round the corner from the Rialto Bridge in... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for three nights. Great location, good breakfast and friendly staff. The room in itself felt a bit small and isolated - the view from the window was the wall of the building on the other side. But you're not gonna spend a whole lot of time in the room anyway, right? The rooftop bar... More

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful and the room was lush and cozy; classic Italian with modern upgrades. The complimentary breakfast was very good as well. It's a short walk from many shops and restaurants and also near the airport and train station. I would highly recommend and would definitely return.

We arrived with our little dog on Friday evening. We were upgraded to junior suite because it's more roomy for us with a dog! Laundry service is not available on weekend ( which we found out when requested) Staff went out of their way and done it for us. Our little furry baby was treated amazingly. We were supplied with... Staying in San Marco

Neighbourhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
