This hotel is situated in the heart of Verona, 10mins from attractions so the perfect location if you don't want to waste time walking / cabbing. It was however a good 20min walk to station so its better to cab here if you have luggage...More
What a fantastic location this charming hotel is in! So convenient for strolls around the city and easy access to some fabulous restaurants recommended by the wonderful hotel staff. Breakfast was buffet style and offered many choices, happy hour at 6pm served some great Italian...More
All in all not a bad hotel. The service at breakfast was good, the food choices good and the coffee was excellent. The bar was also good and reasonably priced. However, beware of the rooms on the lower levels. We were situated in a room...More
If you want a hotel with elegant style based on polished wood, mirrors, wall murals and great service then stay here. If you want the standard beige decor and something that looks like everywhere else you have ever stayed then go elsewhere. I agree that...More
We stayed just for one night in Colomba d'Oro. The staff were polite and helpful. The room was on the spacious side, the bath was quite modern. Its location is very handy to explore the city and it is near to a lot of nice...More

I would recommend you take taxi from the airport. Cost around 30 Euroes. Cheaper, but more time consuming to take bus to railway station and taxi from the station. Possible to walk from the station, but easy to get lost in the small narrow streets in the old town.Enjoy the trip.

Dear Sir/Madam
Thank you for asking.
The hotel is not “tired”: it is ancient. The building is a medieval palace. We understand that not everyone appreciates historic interiors. All our rooms have been fully renovated, with a classic and traditional style. Some may prefer a more modern outlook, but we do have our style and we are very proud of it.
All rooms are soundproofed with double-glazed windows. The Arena is very close (we are the only 4 star hotel in the immediate vicinity), but most shows are not noisy at all (the only show to be performed in one of the dates you mentioned is the "Jesus Christ Superstar" musical, on Oct 12).
We are located in the very heart of the city center, so the surrounding streets can be a bit noisy especially during the weekend, also in the evening. However, not all the rooms face the street: many of them overlook the inner courtyard, wich is much more quiet. You can book asking to be accomodated in one of these. We will be happy to meet your requests.
Yours sincerely
