This is a unique place to stay, with its organic produce from the farm itself, its fabulous hilltop views of Verona and easygoing, friendly, interesting owners, Ilaria and Maurizio. We enjoyed lovely leisurely generous breakfasts inside, in their spacious dining room, or outside in the shade, and two evening meals prepared with entirely local produce. Wild flowers abound, there's the...

A real and still authentic agriturismo nestled in the hills above Verona. The perfect place for peace and relaxation; no pool or wellness centre but breathtakingly beautiful views of the eco-farmed olive grove and the Vayo Galina valley. Light, rustic, cosy rooms and apartments lovingly restored by Maurizio, communal table for breakfast outdoors or indoors by the stove. Organic home-made...

Stayed at Ca del Rocolo during the Vinitaly exhibition and what a wonderful discovery ! Having spent many many years travelling to Tuscany direct from Gatwick to Florence (which is no longer an option) we decided to completely change our routine and give Verona a try. Ca del Rocolo is located up in the mountains and is very nicely tucked...

Ilaria, Maurizio and family run this very special agritourismo just outside of Verona and are incredibly welcoming and lovely. I spent 2 months doing a special work placement here called 'wwoofing' - which involves working with organic organisations. The food is locally sourced, mostly organic and 100% biodinamic. Meals are traditional, wholesome italian fare, using fruit and vegetables grown on...

We stayed here for two nights using it as a base from which to explore Verona and as the starting point for a driving tour of the northern lakes. In both these respects it was superbly convenient, perched high in the tranquility of the hills above Verona, an easy 15 mins. drive away. We absolutely agree with all the positive...

This place, run by Ilaria and Maurizio, is a shining example of an Italian agriturismo establishment. We only stayed one night - en route on a driving tour - and this simply did not do this wonderful place justice. The accommodation for us (two couples) was in a chalet with two separate rooms and an interleaving bathroom. The accommodation perfectly...

We spent five nights with Ilaria, Maurizio and their family and loved every minute. Our children throroughly enjoyed the experience of being able to explore the surroundings and we felt happy in the knowledge they were safe. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had our own living area to come and go as we pleased. Breakfast and the optional...

We just spent two nights at Ca del Rocolo, a charming family-run agriturismo at the top of a winding lane, a few kilometres northwest of Verona. I am confounded by the previous reviewers negative comments - no bath products! This place makes no apology for being a real family home in the countryside and is all the better for it....

Ca del Rocolo is a very beautiful, idyllic Agriturismo with very kind operators! Ca del Rocolo is very fortunate situated with a wonderful sight on Verona. Very child-frendly ... and last but not least, the breakfast is really unique, based on products of own production. Full immersion in nature and all the same very near to Verona, Garda lake and...
