We stayed at Domus Nova for a long weekend in July. The B&B is really an entire apartment with two large en-suite bedrooms (and a third elsewhere in the building), and a common sitting and dining room - more than enough space if you're really only using it as a base from which to sightsee. The apartment is part of... More

It would be impossible to find a more central location than this. Charmingly we were put in the Romeo and Juliet suite. The owner could not have been more helpful when w turned up three hours early. He was around most days to help with questions and any problems. Would certainly go here again and recommend it highly

Best location possible: every top 10 sight is a short walk away, and the best restaurants are even closer. Our host, Giovanni, was friendly, kind, generous, and efficient. Our room was surprisingly ample for the center of a medieval city. The B&B itself is much like a large apartment. Breakfast was excellent. We are so happy that we visited Verona... More

This was our second trip to Domus Nova having visited two years ago and promising to return. The city Is lovely and worth a trip for the opera festival in L'Arena, whether it's your musical preference or not. Domus Nova has pride of place in a lovely piazza in the centre of Verona and walking distance from everything you could... More

I'm a liitle behind in writing this from the summer but a second visit to this place was not disappointing. It's so central, in an amazing piazza and luxurious. I am quite fussy and want somewhere beautiful and spotlessly clean - this is superb and Giovanni as always is a lovely gentleman.

This is a delightful B&B, very conveniently located in the historic centre of Verona. Not cheap but it's price reflects the location. Giovanni Roberti is a genial, if somewhat elusive host. Our well appointed room overlooked a side street and provided a very cool respite after tramping the hot streets. However, a word of warning if arriving by car -... More

We stayed in Romeo e Giulietta, a large room overlooking the square. A1 for location. However the lift is minute, not really big enough for 2 people and 2 cases. It broke down for two days ( of a 3 day stay) and we were 3 floors and 68 steps up. The breakfasts were inadequate and the cleaning of the... More

First of all, the owner, Mr. Roberti is a real italian gentleman. He was very nice and helpful. The room Regina Adelaide is somptuous and large, very well appointed. Ideally situated on the Piazza dei Signori in the middel of the historic city. There is also, for cleaning and preparing breakfasts, a very nice SriLankan maid in stylish uniform. You... More

I really want to be balanced in my review so will start by saying the standard of the rooms and the location are just great . The room was very spacious including a mini bar and the room size was generous . Although in a busy very central location the B and B has very effective double glazing. However we... More

Recommended by Sawday, the Domus Nova is a gem. The rooms are quite large and overlook the Piazza Signore. The windows open out on to the Piazza and you are transported back to the 14th Century. Giovanni was super helpful. The breakfast room is charming. This is an excellent choice for your visit to Verona.
