Our stay at Bella Bari was tremendous. Proper Italian style accommodation in a quiet Court Yard in the Old Town of Bari. The Accommodation was clean, great location, comfy bed and the roof terrace sitting area delightful. Watched the sunset several nights… just amazing. Valentina the host was so helpful, great communication before we arrived and helped us with a number of things we wanted.. it was no problem. She also gave us lots of hints and tips of what to do and how to do it. The breakfast at the nearby cafe was also just lovely. Would not recommend Bella Bari enough and would definitely go back.

Excellent B&B We stayed for 5 nights in August & our 1st time in Bari. Room was simply furnished but clean comfortable & well appointed. Good air con & comfortable bed. Valentina was so helpful, we didn't want for anything. An added bonus were the 2 roof terraces which were lovely places to relax. There was a fridge & a well appointed kitchen on the ground floor which was available for guests to use. There are 3 rooms on 3 floors & we had the 2nd floor room. Our bath/shower could do with a refresh but this did not detract from our stay. Great location, very central to everything & only a 20 minute walk to the railway station. We would stay again.

The attention to detail in this place is like nothing we experienced in our whole trip to Italy (6 cities, 7 hotels). We loved the personal experience and advice given by Valentina and David. The room, and bed in particular, were incredible. The best night sleep I’ve had in years. We spent the evening on the roof terrace watching the sunset 🌅 over the water and it was a moment I will cherish forever. I cannot express enough how impressed we were. The only down point is that we only booked 1 night, but that’s on me I suppose

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! Very clean room and an awesome terrace! The neighborhood is very beautiful and authentic... Close to the Port and lots of restaurants and bars. It's also possible to get to the train station on foot.

Beautiful location in the old town, where you can easily access and visit the old and modern parts of the city. Easy parking along the sea. Valentina was so sweet and helpful, and even let us store our luggage. The room was large and comfy and the shower was great. We would love to come back.

The location is kind of hard to find being in the Old Town but it also places it in a really neat part of town. The rooms are very clean and the service is fantastic. I wish their wifi would have been better.

Room simple but spacious and spotless. Good Bathroom. Excellent fridge downstairs with delicious free biscuits. The terrace was great for picnic lunch, evening drinks and views of Bari. Valentina was endlessly helpful. We had a wonderful time.

This is right in the depths of old Bari where people live in small groups. So staying at Bella Bari you will get to meet the charming people nearby. The room itself is ok. There are drainage pumps that work when anyone uses water and that can be less than perfect. Valentina and her husband Dave are excellent, charming and helpful hosts. They gave us some tips to visit Matera that helped us change our plans for the better. The room is spacious, wifi was good. Break fast is served around the corner at a cafe - again missing with the locals. There are plenty of tourist restaurants nearby and it definitely is an interesting and beautiful place.

Wow - what a lovely place! We had the most amazing time at Valentina and Dave's B&B. The hosts both went out of their way to help with advice on places to visit and eat. We had a really wonderful experience in Bari in large part, due to them and all their advice. The room was perfect. The bed was really comfortable and despite the heat outside, the high-quality air conditioning provided us with the best sleep we had in Italy! If you visit Bari, come here, they will make sure you don't miss out on anything. Thank you Dave and Valentina! We can't wait to come back.

Bella Bari is situated in the very heart of the Citta Vecchia (old town) of Bari. The first exciting experience was to find our way. Valentina, our host, sent us really good instructions how to find the spot and it was a fun adventure itself to roam the narrow alleys among the local people. Valentina was welcoming us on the spot herself and gave all the necessary information to make our time in the B&B comfortable. I'd say the price value was really good. Rooms (common and private) were really clean, showers worked really fine with enough warm water etc. The cherry on the cake was the roof terrace with a garden. Among other help, Valentina had the contact to arrange us a very special trip to the historic towns of Altamura and Matera. Our guide Gianfranco was a person with a heart for his work.
