We had already stayed in this hotel and found it very good
The pleasantness of the stay was renewed on this occasion too: the room assigned to us was large, very clean and quiet, as requested because I am a light sleeper, independently adjustable air conditioning (which is not a given everywhere), comfortable bathroom, presence of a balcony with chairs and a fairly large table
Improvements have been made in the hotel compared to the previous stay such as an expansion of the terrace which now surrounds the breakfast room
Breakfast is varied and includes a good choice of savory and sweet
Among the desserts offered, in addition to croissants, biscuits, cakes and tarts, there were also very good and fresh traditional Sardinian sweets produced by a local artisan workshop
The staff both at reception and in the dining room are very friendly, efficient and professional
The hotel has private parking available free of charge for guests even if there are not many spaces but we had no difficulty parking nearby
The area in which the hotel is located is residential and very quiet and therefore at night there is silence and rest
With a pleasant walk along the Valencia seafront you can reach the historic center in about 10-15 minutes
The hotel has an agreement with an establishment on the beautiful Maria Pia beach where they give you a 10% discount on sunbeds and umbrellas

We stayed only one night as usual since we are motorcycle travelers. We were greeted with great kindness and professionalism and allowed us to put the bike indoors, convenient for loading and unloading luggage.
The location is strategic to reach the center on foot, hearty breakfast and with the possibility of doing it outdoors on a fantastic terrace despite having stayed overnight in November
Also excellent cleaning

We spent two nights in the hotel and really enjoyed it. It’s about 15 mins away from the old town, which is perfect as it takes you away from all the hustle and provides a very quite location. The room was big and comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking a garden. Comfortable beds. Great Wi-Fi. Wonderful breakfast. There is a small garage underneath the hotel but also plenty of parking on the street right outside.
Best part is the customer service - everyone from front desk to breakfast room staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us with dinner & lunch reservations and recommendations for things to do in town and surrounding areas. Would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Park on the street - much easier that maneuvering in the garage.

We stayed in this property in August, everything was perfect I would say; the structure is really very clean, the rooms are large and comfortable, we even found a topper in the bed, services that we did not find in other 4 star hotels but which were also made available free of charge by this 3 star hotel.
The exceptional staff always smiling and available to satisfy the customer's needs, we thank Marina and Stefania for the various suggestions given.
The hotel offers a free shuttle which leaves in the morning at 9.45 and takes guests to the Maria Pia beach (the most beautiful in all of Alghero) where there is a partner establishment which provides 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella for 25 euros.
At 4.30pm the same shuttle picks up guests again and takes them back to the hotel.
(the AF urban line passes every 20 minutes)
The breakfast is excellent and varied, served on the first floor where you can choose whether to stay on the ground or in the internal room.
I can only give 5 stars to this structure for all the services it gives to its customers...

We stayed at this hotel several times, we love it, every time we go to Alghero we stay here! The people at the reception are great, always smiling welcoming and ready to help us out. They also gave us lots of suggestions on restaurants / pizzerias where to dine and each time we found ourselves very well! The rooms are always spotless, and the breakfast and 'great in my opinion, wide choice sweet / savory, fresh cakes every day and typical Sardinian desserts of their production!

We stayed at the hotel Angedras 9 days in July 2024. Very clean hotel, friendly staff and always helpful.
On the day of departure, having the flight late in the evening, we were allowed to store our luggage, take advantage of the shuttle to the beach (thus allowing us to make a full day at sea), and on our return we were provided with a large bathroom to be able to shower and prepare for the trip.
Clean and spacious room.
Very quiet location, you do not even hear a noise at night. You have to walk a bit because it is quite detached from the city center, but doable.
Overall so nothing to report, recommended!

We stayed 4 nights. The hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful location and close enough to the center, reachable on foot. The room, welcoming, always clean, with comfortable beds, is equipped with every service: wifi, TV, air conditioning, minibar, TV and safe. The staff is professional and very kind at any time, always available to give useful information for your stay in Alghero and its surroundings and ready to collaborate to solve small problems. On the last day of our stay, before our scheduled departure in the evening, we were allowed to use a shower with towels. Excellent and varied breakfast. Delicious desserts produced by a local pastry shop and breakfast staff always attentive to satisfying every request and replenishing the buffet in case the food runs out. Definitely recommended!

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood about 15 minutes' walk from the historic center.

Some worries about parking when the hotel's private and covered one is full, but patience is usually rewarded in one of the side streets.

The rooms are very spacious, have air conditioning and a pleasant, livable terrace useful for hanging out beach towels. Cleanliness is impeccable.

Breakfast is served on the first floor, also taking advantage of a pleasant outdoor terrace. Rich and varied (sweet and savory), with high quality artisan products.

It is impossible not to mention the courtesy and helpfulness of all the staff (reception and lounge).

It certainly ranks in the high range of three stars.

Very pleasant experience

We highly recommend this place. The staff was super friendly without exception! The ladies at reception had great tips for us in terms of restaurants, beaches, excursions (thanks especially to Marina!!!). Even if there was no space left in the hotel's garage, we got a place to park in the street without any problems. The breakfast was delicious and rich, the coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato came freshly ground from the fully automatic machine and milk froth was made from fresh milk and not from milk powder as in some other hotels. The rooms were not top modern, but still cozy and large - and above all always clean. On foot easily in about 10 minutes to the old town. Price/performance absolutely top!

Hotel was clean staff friendly. The room although a good size lacked any drink making facilities every other hotel we had been to in Sardinia had something and this was the most expensive. We wanted to sit on our balcony instead of trailing to beach as it was stinking of pee due to the lack of facilities very disappointing there was no sun and rats where seen on many occasions running along the wall thank good we where on 2nd floor. The most annoying thing was breakfast served in a tiny packed room and terrace boiling hot and the worst breakfast of our whole holiday same choice everyday hardly anything to pick from. On many occasions we seen people wrap food up and put in their bags mainly Italians even though there was notices about. Hotel is about 15 minutes walk to old town which makes it nice and quiet to sleep. This hotel is ok if you have a car or for a day or 2 but not a week it lacks services and any kind of atmosphere. Certainly wouldn't come back.

Response from Hotel Angedras, Proprietario at Hotel Angedras
Responded 21 Aug 2024
Dear Guest, we are glad you appreciated our friendly staff, the tidiness and quietness of the area but we don’t feel the same about the negative parts you highlighted. We confirm the rooms haven’t got kettle or instant coffee/ tea service mainly for babies/kids safety reasons but our Reception and Bar are open 24/7 for any needed help. Our indoor breakfast is served in an area that provides air conditioning while the outdoor dining area has several shaded areas. We do not agree with your opinion in relation with the breakfast service. Angedras Hotel is a 3 star Hotel that collaborates with a traditional local pastry that daily bakes cakes and biscuits since 1982. In the while we daily provide fresh fruits and vegetables in accord with the seasonal offer. We are definitely not responsable with any lack of sunlight. We can’t find any connection in between all the unpleasant smells you detected in Town and the lackness of facilities somewhere outside the Hotel. We can’t be responsable of any mice or rodent you detected outside the Hotel (NO RODENT has ever been detected in the surrounded area). To offer a quick example: we can’t be responsable of any wild boar swimming in the beautiful Stintino Beach. To be more accurate, we can’t be responsable of any external service/lackness not related with Angedras Hotel. At last, our rooms are genuinely furnished in a typical Sardinian Style, we are sorry you did not notice the traditional atmosphere in the Hotel. Kind regards

Il Ristorante della stessa gestione dell'albergo si trova sul mare, ai bastioni, distante almeno 15 minuti a piedi. L'albergo fa solo pernottamento e prima colazione. Non so se possibili accordi locali.
