If this hotel didn't market itself as luxury / 5 star, I wouldn't be so aggrieved. But it does, so I am. For the price paid, you do not get luxury, or at least, the luxury I would expect compared to other 5 star hotels I have stayed at. This is an ok / nice hotel. In which case,

If you're traveling on business and expensing all of your costs, with a car, then the Romano Palace is probably perfect for you. However, if you're not, it's probably not.  Firstly, location wise the hotel is great for being close to the airport, but that's about it. There are

Enjoyed our recent stay in this lovely hotel. While it rained the whole time - making the pool and adjacent park off limits - the stunning interior design and superb service made up for the storms. Antonio and Alfredo at the Front Desk were very kind and even remembered our

I guess a taxi should be possible if booked in advance. Concierge should be able to help, but per my review, the staff was not well trained or helpful

The Shuttle Bus ... where & when does it run?
The hotel posts the travel time, reserve at front desk. I am sorry I do not recall the exact time, but there is a morning shuttle and possibly up to three a day. There is also public bus service, at that time for one euro. It is either B or D that brings you the the bus terminal downtown. If you take the morning shuttle and do not want to wait for the hotels shuttle the bus is handy to meet your tour time needs.
