Second time we stay here, absolutely outstanding hostel, one of the best we know (and we use to stay a lot in hostels!). Only downsize is a bit noisy from traffic.... Terrific atmosphere, very nice and helpful staff. My full recommendation.

I advise to avoid this hostel -- worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Perhaps the place has seen better days but now it seems to be on sunset boulevard run by a disrespectful Proprietario. A little two faced.  The reception was closed before the advertised time. I spent the evening and night without electricity for the key card did not work.  No safety deposit boxes in rooms.  No proper ventilation in bathroom leaving the bathroom misty after taking a shower and leaving it smelly after using the loo.  Beds were extremely uncomfortable.  Street noise.  Pillows were solid hurting your neck when you slept. I could go on but I’m not going to waste any more time. I have honestly never been anywhere and met such rude two faced Proprietario (staff were lovely). If you are not majorly bothered by the cleanliness of the common rooms (proprietario entertains a cast of “visitors” who couldn’t care less about pandemic hygienie) and big-brother surveillance cameras and you want a cheap place to lay down and sun bathe at the beach this is the place for you. However, if you are more the cautious type and care about cleanliness and explore the city without feeling you’re being monitored DO NOT STAY.

What a little gem of a hostel. So glad i chose this place. As a solo traveller, this was ideal for meeting other people, in the common area outside or in the dinning room. Clean, comfortable and very chilled out, it attracts the right kind of traveller it would seem. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful they really made the stay memorable. Minutes from the airport shuttle stop and walking distance to anywhere in town. I cant recommend this place enough.

Warm and very welcoming hospitality at Casa di Amici. Great staff who helps you with the hotspots in town/on the island, directions and practical stuff! Located on walking distance from the train station and the center. The hostel is clean and very cozy. Possibility to have breakfast or to relax outside with other lovely guests in a plant-based environment. There is a kitchen with equipment to cook your own meals. Loved the fascinating instruments and the happy colors everywhere in the hostel. Thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful stay. Tanti baci! 😊 Linh Chi.
