Palermo was the start of our holiday and this accommodation set the benchmark high for later properties. It was a lovely big room and a large en suite and had everything we required for our short stay.
Prior to our arrival we were asked our eta and were given options to get to the accommodation one of which was private transfer for 45 euros which we decided to choose. It was definitely the best decision as we were talking to a couple who jumped in a taxi at the airport and it cost the over 100 euros to take them to the city. Palermo airport is at least 20 minutes from the city centre.
As it was a late flight we were given clear instructions on how to access the property.
The staff were on hand to in the morning to welcome us and were very friendly and helpful when we asked questions about the town.
It’s well located for restaurants and bars , close to the harbour and within walking distance to the centre of the city.

This place will be suitable for people who want something different than a ''classic'' hotel room, it has its. own charm which is gained by vintage style. Boutique B&B Vintage has a very good location, you can reach almost everything by foot. The breakfast was simple (eggs, pastry, cheese, ham, yogurt, coffee, fresh juice) but very delicious. The only thing which I didn't like - the room was quite dark due not having enough lamps inside.

Dear LivaAnna, thank you so much for your lovely review. We're happy you've enjoyed your stay with us and appreciated our unique style. Our place is a mixture of vintage furniture, art pieces and modern design, chosen with care to create a cosy and special environment for our guests. As you've mentioned, the location is extremely central and perfect to visit the city center. And our breakfast offer is based on the true flavours of Sicily with seasonal ingredients from local farms. Thank you for your suggestion on the lights! We try to create a relaxing mood with warm, soft lights, but we'll revisit the ones in your room cause we believe there's always room for improvement. We look forward to your next stay!

A lovely little gem of a B&B. Room was very spacious and clean. We checked in after 2pm so no one was there but instructions were very easy. They do offer airport transportation for €40 each way. They have breakfast included which was a typical European selection with made to order coffees and fresh juices. It was delicious. Perfect location in the centro storico. Which you may think is a pretty loud neighborhood… it is. But the soundproofing in the rooms is incredible. As soon as you close the windows- silence. I was so impressed. The bed and pillows were sooo comfortable also. I definitely recommend staying here. My ONLY complaint, was the wifi did not work. I mentioned this to Giada and she said it was working for them so they weren’t sure. However during our entire 6 days, it did not work for us.

I do not suggest getting a car. There is no parking close by. Driving and parking in Palermo is a nightmare. The bus is easy to use and also there are electric scooters (like Lime and Bird) everywhere.

Dear Kayla M, we are so grateful for your amazing review. It's been a true pleasure to host you. We're glad you've appreciated our central location and especially our soundproof windows that are designed to provide peace and quiet from the movida in Palermo. We do our best to select fresh and local produce for our breakfast buffet that evolves with the seasons. The reception is open everyday til 2pm, after that both the owner who lives in the building and the general manager are available 24/7 (either by email, phone calls or whatsapp). About wifi, we're sorry you couldn't connect for the whole stay. We did check right after you brought up the issue, but it seemed all in order - all our devices connected easily and so did the other guests', so we thought the problem was solved. Nevertheless we'll call a technician to make an extra check as soon as possible. Thank you for mentioning the parking issue. In our welcoming email we send all info about parking in Palermo (also a private parking option). Nevertheless we strongly recommend NOT to come to the city by car. The best option is to rent it before coming to Palermo or after, but not during your stay, since driving and parking in the city can be very stressful. We look forward to your next stay! Best Regards,

The hospitality from Sergio and his amazing team at the charming and ideally located Vintage B&B is outstanding. From a great multi lingual welcome, to superbly appointed rooms, a great location near the centre of the city, the port, and the vibrant al fresco food and drinking locations it makes for a wonderful stay. Sergio's intimate knowledge of the city and the location adds to the overall experience of a home away from home! Highly recommended.

We stayed at this absolutely lovely B&B in October 2019. Our rooms were comfortable, spotless, and spacious. The owners and entire staff were professional, friendly and attentive. The location cannot be beat- right in the center of Palermo and near the marina as well. Highly recommend.

The location was great - close to all the attractions, great restaurants and near a parking garage to take the car to the beach. Just beware you can hear the party on the street from your room on a Saturday night. Staff were extremely helpful. Room was big and clean. We didn’t have breakfast at the BB so I cannot comment on that - that said there were lots of cafes near by.

Dear MarLM6, Thank you for your positive feedback, we're glad you've appreciated our central location which is near bars and cafes. Even if parking can be stressful there are solutions that we're happy to share with the guests in order to help them have a lovely stay. As for the Saturday night movida, all our rooms with a balcony are equipped with excellent soundproof windows. We also have rooms at the back of the building which are secluded from the noise completely and therefore perfect for light sleepers. We look forward to your next stay. All the best, Giada

I take small groups of Americans to Sicily and Boutique B&B Vintage is usually our first stop. This inn is much like the city around it. At once, charming, unique, historic and elagant, vibrant and tranquil. And always welcoming.

Giada, Maja, and Sergio are your suberb hosts and they will be able to help you navigate this sometimes overwhelming city with knowledge, grace, and eagerness. They have actually saved my butt on more than one occasion when scheduled plans went horribly awry.

The rooms are beyond stunning, clean, and comfortable. One of my guests loved the bed so much he went as far as to contact the manufacturer of the mattress and have one shipped to the states. And they've just made some renovations that make it even more stellar. (see if you can get the room with the new tub)

I'm sure that you will find, as i have. that you have found your home in Palermo.

And the breakfast is really really yummy.

Usually we wouldn’t go for a b&b always hotels but places here seemed hard to know really how good they were. This was a great find the room was large and airy with a balcony on to the Main Street. There are restaurants and bars right outside which is great and when we went to bed the windows kept the noise out. We were a small walk from all the main roads for bars and food and also the main attractions. Also just a stone throw away from the marina for boat trips so really is a great place to be. The host Giada was really helpful when we needed any advice or recommendations she would alway help us out. This is definitely where I would stay next time I visit.

This central location is quite strategic because it’s close to all the main attractions but also walking distance from the harbour, so you get to see the seaside with the little sailing boats and the new amazing “Molo Trapezoidale” with its luxury yachts, restaurants and shops.
The building is ancient, being in the historic Palermo city centre, but very well preserved and with contemporary touches of art and design.
Our room was nicely decorated and furnished, with all comfort needed. It had a balcony with a nice view and the windows are noise proof so you can sleep well even if people outside are partying in the cosy restaurants and pubs nearby.
At breakfast there is a nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly. Sergio, the owner, is a great host and always has a warm smile for you. I highly recommend this place for a stay with friends and family.

A brilliant weekend in Palermo as part of a reunion. The B&B is perfectly located on a quiet, atmospheric street but also very well placed for eating, drinking and sightseeing. It is fantastically laid out inside - very comfy and large rooms. Sergio and Maya are super friendly, and the breakfast is substantial and tasty. Easy to recommend if you are in Palermo (which you should be as it is a lovely city to visit - has everything)

Hello Julie, if you are willing to access the city center by car, you'll need to activate a city pass for the traffic limited zone which costs 5€ per day and can be purchased at Tabacchi stores. There are free parking spots in Piazza Marina or private parkings at 15€ per day nearby. Best Regards,
