Beautiful, fresh hotel and very clean. Our room was comfortable. We found it easy to walk to restaurants and shops during our 3 night stay. Staff at the front desk were great and helped us with suggestions and taxis. There is a very convenient parking garage across the street

What can I say? Lovely staff, beautiful room, Ortigia toiletries - wow- great breakfast too. We were only there one night but would love to come back! Highly recommended. The restaurant opposite was fantastic too.

This hotel is outside the old town area where all of the things you want to see in Palermo are located. It wasn't too far of a walk but I would have preferred to stay in that area rather than have to walk in and out all of the time. The hotel room was small, though clean and

Dear Robert F, thank you very much for choosing Hotel Plaza Opéra for your recent stay in Palermo and for sharing your opinions on your stay experience. Hotel Plaza Opéra is located right off Piazza Politeama, in the heart of the shopping, dining and entertainment district, in the most elegant neighbourhood of Palermo. The historical city centre can be reached with a small walk, and such proximity mixed with the beauty of the surroundings and the very high level of shops and dining experiences available make it a favourite with most travellers. We would like to thank you for highlighting the cleanliness, good maintenace and comfort of hotel rooms, and friendliness of our staff. We would like to apologize for your check-in experience not being in line with the usual friendly and smiling attitude of our staff - it is very unusual for us to read such a comment and we will take very good note of it. We thank you once again for sharing your comment and hope to welcome uou back to our property on the occasion of your next stay in Sicily. With my kindest regards, Giulia Briguglia Sales & Marketing Executive Hotel Plaza Opéra

This was a conveniently located hotel near the historic centre. Rooms were well appointed and bathroom/shower fine. Probably a little on the small size but city centre it’s what you expect. Bearing in mind Italian hotels are pretty poor on breakfast this was average; plenty of

Dear Max H, thank you for choosing Hotel Plaza Opéra for your recent stay in Palermo - we are truly happy that you have enjoyed the property and your stay experience. We appreciate your highlighting your expectations and general opinion on some aspects of hospitality in Italy in general, and commenting very positively on the room comfort, the quality of breakfast in consideration of the fact that it combines both the tradtional Italian sweet breakfast together with international offer of cheeses cold cuts, eggs and bacon. We are truly sorry that you did not enjoy the fruit offer: considering we only serve seasonal fruit, I agree that the autumn selection may not be the most interesting, still together with the traditional apples, pears, bananas and kiwis, we always serve seasonal melons, grapes and persimmonn, which are both very typical and delicious! We are truly happy that you have enjoyed the hotel neighbourhood, as it is truly a lovely area full of bars and amazing links to the main facilities like the airport. We will be looking forward to having you back as our guest on the occasion of your next stay in Palermo and in the meanwhile we send you our very kindest regards. dear Hetty52, please get off the bus at the Palermo - Via E. Amari n. 170 (Politeama) stop. The hotel is located less than 100 mt from there, on the corner between via Nicolò Gallo and via Isidoro La Lumia, the road that starts in front of the stop keeping the back of the theatre on your left and crossing via Turati. Please do not hesitate to contact our Front Desk if you need further directions. We'll be looking forward to welcoming you! Giulia Briguglia Sales & Marketing Executive

The hotel is located less than a kilometer away from the port - so if you are light with your luggage you can decide to walk, or call a cab, which is quite cheap at such a small distance.
