My husband wants a shower , and what we got was a non working jacuzzi tub with a hand wand . Instead of the double or queen bed- two twin beds. Haven't tried the breakfast yet but eggs are extra we have been told. Except for shower issue- the bathroom well appointed. Close to shopping and churches.

We had a great time her and were looked after really well by the staff. Cinzia was espcially helpful and wonderful at helping us park. The room had a wonderful sea view so we could go to sleep listening to the waves! It is a perfect position to explore syracuse and we walked everywhere. We were reccomended great resturants by...

This is a very nice hotel on Ortigia a few minutes walk from the main tourist areas. We had a large spacious room with a balcony and sea view. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The staff were excellent and friendly although it was a surprise to be greeted by a nun when we returned one afternoon! Yes,...

Comfy room, but didnt exactly have much of a view. One total peeve was they advertise as having WIFI but its sporadic and poor at the best of times. If you are someone who uses the net to organise your trips and plan your days, then prepare to be frustrated trying to log on to a shoddy network that comes...

I stayed at this hotel as part of a Rick Steves tour in October 2016. It was wonderful--spotless room with a comfortable bed and a great shower. The location is terrific and within walking distance of all the sights in Ortygia. There is a quick but pricey laundry service provided by the hotel so this is a good laundry stop...

We were welcomed by Cinzia who took very good care of us. Nothing too much trouble. The room overlooked the sea and with our windows open at night it felt like the sea was all around us. Very lucky the weather this October has been fabulous. I would lie to return as there are so many things yet to see...

My hubby and I stayed 3 night booking via booking.com. As arrived we found out we got a room with two single beds with no possibility to join the beds. In order to get a master bedroom we got trasferred to a room facing the sea for a surcharge. Overall, the staff was always very nice to us. To reach...

I had a great stay at the Domus Mariae. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located a couple blocks removed from the streets with restaurants, bars, tourist sites which means it is quiet at night but still is a 2-10 minute walk from most of ortigia- a great location. I had a room with a small balcony...

Fantastic location, wonderful & super friendly staff. Rooms facing the sea has amazing views, the balconies hang over the sea. The breakfast was served at sister property across the street. Short walking distance from restaurants, main square etc Good wi-fi service No elevator, thus difficult if there is mobility restrictions but this is normal for that kind of building, it...

We stayed three nights. Room: although our room overlooked the street and rooftops (as opposed to a more expensive sea view) it was a good size, light and airy. Modern, light but very small bathroom. Great to have 2 windows that fully opened. Location. Perfect for walking to everywhere. Parking. This was important for us as we had a rental...
