Very nice B&B close to everything. The rooms are charming (apart from really terrible lumpy pillows). Excellent value. We enjoyed breakfast on the rooftop. Staff were friendly. The street is pedestrian only but parking is close by (€10 per day). Don't try to drive down into it - park at the top and let the staff bring the car in... More

We spent a whole week here with the lovely people at this B&B (I can not believe some of the reviews on here, especially the one that says the owner was really rude and shouted??? They were lovely people - It was probably one of the local residents who live and share the courtyard that Magnolia shares! The family that... More

The cleaning is average - the bed is very horrible. The room is very noise, we hear the street - the reception ... The breakfast in the rooftop is nice and the receptionist is nice too :) The localization is nice to visit Siracusa but the price is expensive contrary other b&b and for the quality.

Awful experience! The owner was really rude and bossy, he even yelled at me in the middle of the courtyard because I was a little late when I checked in. I was alone at 10 pm and this man made me cry. Luckily a neighbour noticed this situation and gave me some support by calming the man down. The courtyard... More

Even though I had explicitly written to let them know I was allergic to perfumes etc. when we entered the room assigned to us (bottom floor, second on the left) there was still an air freshener left in the room, and a strong smell of perfume. I quickly removed this, and realized it was put there in order to attempt... More

Stayed here for 3 days. We were lucky to find it, the property is really tucked away. And they were not there when they said they would be, we were let in by other residents. Luckily the rooms were on the ground floor, because there are lots of steps up to the first floor, and really steep steps up to... More

Rooms are clean but very small. Shower is tiny and difficult to manage. Many steep steps to the upstairs rooms and even steeper steps to the terrace for breakfast. Breakfast was mainly cake, bread and croissants heated in the oven. The courtyard outside is used by the neighbouring families and the children can be very noisy. They also watch TV... More

The style of rooms were very traditional in style (Sicilian) and had a lot of character and charm. The cleanliness of the rooms were flawless. The breakfast on the roof top terrace was delicious! Good location despite a few difficulties finding the place. I woud highly recommend this B&B.

This is a lovely B&B/small hotel, on the island of Ortygia in Syracuse. The hotel is in a quiet courtyard, tucked away off the main street, but within a five minute walk of piazza Archimede and the cathedral square. Our room was bright and immaculately clean. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was served on a pretty rooftop... More

This small, but very welcoming B&B in the centre of Ortigia, the old city of Siracusa, is good value, clean and full of character. Anacleto the proprietor is an excellent host and will help you make the most of your stay in this most historic of Sicilian cities. Magnolia B&B is hidden away in the back streets, but it is...
