Hotel is situated next to the train station and only a little way away from the center where there are restaurants to choose from. Hotel is well kept and nice for the price we paid. Breakfast was very good. The guy at the reception was very nice and dedicated.

We arrived exhausted after a long train journey and found Hotel Como just right. The bedroom was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good choice of food and some delicious pastries. Although we only spent one night there, I thoroughly recommend it and its location so close...

We stayed for 2 nights in a mid level room, which was spacious and clean. The double bed was 2 singles pushed together, without a cushioned "topper" to smooth over the join. Breakfast was fresh and generous. If you stay here make sure you get in early or risk the €10 for parking. The bar has no view of the...

In the room there was everything that we needed: The bathroom was tidy and well-equipped, there was an air-conditioning, everything was clean. The staff at the front desk was helpful, polite and friendly. Their breakfast was very adequate with bread, melted cheese, yoghurt, juice, coffee, eggs - and also something else which I didn't eat.

If you`re going to walk around Ortigia, better to search accomodation there. But if your plans include the travel around South-Eastern Sicilia (Noto, Ragusa, Modica etc), you`d better to stay here. Hotel Como is just behind railway station and 100 m. to bus stop. It`s very comfortable. Price is reasonable (35 EU for single together with daughter). Staff is perfect....

Stayed here for three nights over New Year. We chose it because it is in between the bus station and the railway station, perfect for those relying on public transport. The staff were helpful, polite and charming. The water was scorching and plentiful. Breakfast was a bit sweet for me but the coffee excellent. For the price we paid it...

Perfect if you travel by train as the station is literally across the street. Very low price for single room when i stayed there. Cheepest so far in my trip to Sicily. Around 22 Euro a night. Very nice and helpful staff. No noise from the outside, but you hear your neighbours very well. Within walking distance to the old...

The best advantage of this hotel is its lacation. Just a step from Stazione Centrale . Its quite clean hotel but in General I think it needs renovation. The breakfast was just ok. Staff gave us wrong Information about Buses to Neapolis and had to wait for a long time in a wrong bus stop.

Chosen for the proximity of the rail and coach stations, and ease of trips to Noto, Rigusa, Lentini, Taormina etc. The staff are pleasant and friendly. Breakfast is choice of coffee, croissants, yoghurt, juice, packeted toast and little plain cakes. Room maintenance and cleanliness were first class. Shower old but fine once you sort out the hot/cold mix. My room...

Syracuse is a lovely city, but, considering Hotel Como's features and location, I'd give it no more than a 2-star rating. To get to it, I took a bus from Catania Airport, which dropped me off right around the corner from the hotel. To leave Syracuse, I took the train back to Catania, at the train station right in front...
