The hotel is comfortable.
Sensibly priced by Taormina standards.
We had an annexe room with private terrace overlooking the town and across to the mainland coast and ancient theatre.
Rosario in reception could not have been more helpful with transport laundry minibar pool service etc.
Access to the pedestrian Corso Umberto is via steep stairs.
Plenty of restaurants cafes bars etc. At the bottom of the stairs.
Our breakfast was provided at Licchios bar on Corso Umberto and everything was fresh every morning.
A good place if you are on a budget.
The hotel restaurant Nettuno was closed so no comment on that.

Dear Guissi and the Entire Staff at Il Piccolo Giardino,
Our group of 33 adults can never convey our gratitude and appreciation for our 3 day stay at your beautiful hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were made welcome, and knew we had found the perfect place in Taormina for us. The rooms are very well appointed, clean and comfortable, breakfast was very good, the location is perfect for exploring Taormina and excursions to surrounding areas, close to shopping, restaurants, and beaches, and the pool and rooftop terrace was a great place for our group to meet after a day of touring and exploring. It is always a pleasure to stay at a hotel where you know the people that work there take pride in all they do. I truly believe the value of this hotel would be hard to beat anywhere else in the city. I look forward to returning some day. Again, with sincere thanks, Marla and the entire group

This hotel is centrally located which will have you in the heart of Taormina within seconds of leaving your room. The rooms are pretty basic, but modern, clean and well kept.
The breakfast options aren't massive, however we never left the hotel feeling hungry. It did become a bit of a struggle to get a coffee some days where we'd have finished eating and then finally managed to get one.
The pool is a great addition. We only used on the first day as we were a little late to head down to the beach, but it has great views of the city and proved a nice place to chill out. The only thing that would've made it better would be a bar of some sort.
The hotel offers a shuttle service which runs to two different beach areas and varies in price from 12.50 - 14 euro per person for a lounger, umbrella and transfer which we did utilise everyday without any problems at all.
We had a good stay and would recommend for anyone staying here for a few nights who would like to be in the centre of Taormina and not pay absolutely extortionate prices.

This as a very nis
De hotel a
With a very accommodating staff. The location is good although taxis and buses can’t get to the door due to narrow streets so though have to walk a bit which can be hard with luggage. There is a restaurant but it apparently is not directly associated with the hotel so food cannot be charged to the room. However the hotel has a nice little buffet breakfast that is included. There is a lovely outdoor garden area for eating. Some rooms have balconies and we would recommend trying for a room with a balcony. The rooftop pool has a great view . The Main Street of Taormina is just a flight of stairs down. There are many restaurants a short walk away.

Perfectly positioned for all the bars, restaurants and shops in and around the Corso Umberto - all literally on your doorstep. The staff were brilliant - really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was nice clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast - cooked items were limited, though that wasn't a problem for us. Overall, we found this great hotel for our holiday in lovely Taormina.

The perfect place to stay when exploring, Taormina and the east coast of Sicily.

A beautiful roof top pool area, garden area and spacious rooms.

The staff are warm and welcoming, especially Josephine on reception who was so helpful and chatty. We were lucky to get lots of local reccomendations from her.

Breakfast every day was fresh, lots of nice coffee, pastries and fruit, eggs and other items.

The room was quiet, even with the busy Corso Umberto outside.

Would highly recommend.

Small hotel with comfortable but not huge rooms. Staff are helpful and can sort transfers etc with no hassle
The hotel is very clean and housekeeping do a great job.
This hotel has a lift and wheelchair access is possible, but Taormina is not a disabled user friendly town. Lots of steps to access many restaurants and bars and steep slopes to the bus terminal

Nice 3* hotel, rooms are functional, if small. Excellent shower, good breakfast. Pool is small but good for small dip and on nice sun deck.

Best thing about the hotel is the location. Short steps down to main street in taormina.

WARNING - If in hire car do not drive to the entrance, park on road above, as you cannot turn round at the end of the road the hotel is on

We had a fantastic stay at il Piccolo Giordino. It is perfectly located for everything. You practically live on the main street with a wonderful stairs to the hotel. There is a very good, fresh breakfast. Pool on the terrace. The most important thing is the staff who did everything to ensure you have a perfect holiday. Special thanks to Luccia who served a wonderful coffee and Rosario in the reception who gave us nice recommendations for good restaurants and leisure activities. Thank you very much for a perfect holiday!

We never asked reception but I dont think they do. We took a walk for about 20 mins where you were able to board a cable car which took you directly to the beach for around 5 euros. Cant remember the name of the beach. It was a small stretch but sandy. As far as I know, the hotel does not offer trips and tours. Thry do have plenty of leaflets and can point you in the right direction locally for booking tours.

Ciao, As I know the main street in Taormina is Corso Umberto. Which is very close to the hotel, actually you just need to walk down on the stairs :-)
