Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very pleasant rooms, well-located. Since they were renovating part of the hotel, we couldn’t stay at the top room, our favorite . They credited us our room paid for last year when we had to leave Sicily for a home emergency. Classy, something one wouldn’t expect from a corporate-style hotel, which Paradiso is definitely not. Family-run and warm

Hotel's Favourite
A special mention must go to the fantastic lounge on the 6th floor which serves breakfast in the morning and drinks, snacks and light suppers in the evening. This is all managed by "Marla and Carmelo" who do an incredible job. The breakfast was literally to die for. Whilst Marla mans the kitchen, Carmelo delivers numerous dishes of fruit, meat, cheese, yoghurt, breads and pastries to your table. It is like a buffet but more relaxing as you do not have to leave your seat! You literally sit and watch the amazing views of Mt Etna on one side and the sea on the other while Carmelo brings all these goodies to your table. Breakfast was included in our rate which was very reasonable and exceptionally good value Finally, if you are only in Taormina for a short break you could not get a better location. It was bang in the centre and only steps away form the main attractions and all the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. We did not have or need a car and we did not take a single taxi until the day we were leaving for the airport.

Awesome. This hotel is quirky and absolutely wonderful. It is family run and operated. From the minute you step through the doors, you are welcomed and treated like an honoured guest. The rooms are charming. The hotel is super clean. The breakfasts on the rooftop are superb. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in future visits.

This gem of a hotel is all the more gem-my because of its back stories - a multigenerationally family owned hotel, run by a warm and wonderful group of sisters from that family now. The lobby feels like you stumbled into someone's grandmother's parlor - just with a killer view of the sea. The rooms also don't just have the usual soulless hotel furniture -but a few quirky little pieces. Our room looked at Etna, the sea, the town - it was hard to leave. The breakfast is fantastic again - with the killer view (and one day we were leaving at 630 AM before breakfast began to hike Etna - and they opened up early for us which was great). The evening cocktail bar - great views, and every cocktail comes with a treasure trove of mezze and snacks. The front desk was helpful and someone was there 24 hours which was useful with odd arrival and departure times. The location is unbeatable - next to the glorious public gardens - walking distance to everything, but just enough off the beaten path that it is not in the midst of it all. I am guilty of wanting to stay because of White Lotus - but instead of a staid dysfunctional entitled hotel - we got something that felt familiar and special.

A wonderful third floor room with a view of Mt. Etna and the sea - great service, superb breakfast buffet, friendly people and a perfect location. This family-run hotel is perfectly situated in a quiet street yet steps from all the hotels and shops.

Made to feel welcome the moment that you arrive. We used the e20 valet parking which worked really well. Breakfast superb huge choice of fruits and the treat of pistachio sauce. All the sites and restaurants in east reach. Highly recommend 5th floor with balcony.

Really nice place to stay. We had booked a junior suite which was spacious, clean and had a magnificent view with a balcony overlooking the local tennis club. The rooms were cleaned very well every day. Breakfast was delicious with a huge choice. The restaurant gives a fabulous view of Mount Etna. Service was fabulous. The person in charge of breakfast remembered us and our requirements after the first day. The rooftop becomes a bar in the evenings. Reception staff were extremely helpful and arranged excursions for us. The hotel is very central to all the main restaurants and culture.

Always the best, like going home to family, they greet you with such a welcoming feel, they try to accolade your every need, everyone there is so helpful. The location is great, best views, and easy to get to the central areas, breakfast on the roof is sumptuous with the best views, you can also do drinks up there at night, they once did dinners. The rooms are adorable and feel like your are home in Taormina, very traditional but sooo charming, you open your shutters and see magnificent scenery from the sea to the volcano and more. The owners really care, the Grandfather passed away but he took such pride and joy in this hotel, now his children and grandchildren are just as involved and share his love. They take you to their beyond beautiful beach club with a great pool, lunches, and private Sea area.

Stunning! The location is perfect. The room was elegant with a great view of my Etna and the sea. The service was very warm and welcoming. This hotel has been in the family for five generations and it is no wonder. The roof top bar / breakfast dining room are spectacular.

Lovely little hotel! Great staff—special mention goes to Giuseppe in the bar. The hotel is in the perfect location for a Taormina stay: not right in the centre but close enough to get there with a five minute walk. The rooms are lovely (well, ours was)! Also the breakfasts are to die for; such a wide selection to cater for every taste. I don’t really have any negatives that I can think of.
