The staff is really friendly and the breakfast was very nice with the usual continental offerings plus little meat sandwiches, cheeses and liverwurst but the rooms and bathrooms are very small and dark. Maybe because I got a single room, but even so it felt like a slightly larger cruise ship cabin. Nice dual windows to keep the noise out.... More

Overpriced. Location, breakfast, staff. Experienced staff, willing to support you and make your stay pleasant. After presenting the arguments, I was moved to another room and there were no issues for the rest of stay (try to avoid room 310). Building is old, so some cracks on walls can be expected, well preserved, silent, my windows was on inside yard.... More

I stayed at this hotel for one weekend and would definitely stay there again. The staff is very, very helpful and friendly, The location is fantastic, everything is nearby, you can also go back to the (nicely airconditioned) hotel room for a quick rest and then go out again. The rooms are small, but clean. The hotel itself has some... More

The hotel seems like it was the swankiest place around in 1965, but it hasn't been updated much since then. The general sense of the maintenance was that it is not good, so the elevator scared me. The bed was two hard single beds pushed together without a topper, so you couldn't sleep in the middle where the two edges... More

The hotel has a great location next to the Medici Chapel, and within a short walk to all other Florence hot spots. The room I had was very simple, but clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and very service minded, and breakfast is served in an adjacent room in an old Florentine palazzio. They have a deal with nearby garage,... More

Can't leave your luggage if you arrive early, can't check in before 2pm, rooms fairly small and in need of a refurb, shower cubicle was the size of a telephone box, but overall quite clean Surly female receptionist on arrival who lightened up as the week went on Only just a 3 star and probably because it was in an... Ok for single room for a night. Small bathroom with tiny shower and minimal flow of water . Breakfast was sufficient for my needs. The staff were helpful and friendly. Central location an advantage. I guess this hotel is similar to all in this area-and there are a lot-so would probably return unless I get a better price elsewhere for... More

A small hotel near the train station. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and tries to be helpful. Breakfast is average but the ladies who serve it are very friendly and efficient which makes up for the lack of selections available. WiFi is free but a bit cumbersome. Need separate password for each device which need to... More
