Diana Park Hotel is located inside an old-fashioned palace, realised at the end of ‘800 with the same neo-classical style of the adjoining church of Madonna delle Tosse (built by the Lorena family in 1596). The hotel is situated few steps from the Renaissance masterpieces of Florence, at the gates of the historical centre of Florence near Piazza della Libertà. The hotel, born thanks to a careful renovation, offers all the charm of Florence’s tradition, without renouncing to best modern comforts. The architectural details of the hall, enriched by marbles, antique carpets and decorated stuccos, create a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere. Rooms facilities: In-room safe, telephone, air conditioning and heating (adjustable from the room), desk, carpeted floors, satellite channels, mini-bar, kettle. Private bathroom with hairdryer, toiletries and complimentary toiletries, jet shower or jacuzzi bathtub. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Private parking according to availability.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Not a bad hotel but fair walk from centre and could do with a refurbishment, breakfast was pretty good for a continental but dud get very busy and only 1 waitress doing everything so had to wait around as most tables still had used cups and plates on … also be very careful of the water scam , everyday room maid would leave bottles of water in room which we wasn’t informed were chargeable until we checked out and got a bill for water we consumed Don’t think we’d stay again and would stay in the city centre

The hotel is clean , but tired. I did not appreciate being told to sit a specific table for breakfast even when there were clearly several empty, was totally snubbed when asking for hot water for tea. Male concierge added 30% onto the price of bus tickets , next days' tickets were as priced on the actual ticket. Makes them untrustworthy. Poor breakfasts . And service is bad. Itallians get treated well and english are NOT . They don't know how to treat paying guests with equal respect . Its obvious they are blatantly discriminate.

Hotel is clean and situated approx 30min walk from centre, although there is a bus stop outside if you prefer which costs 1.50 to centre each way. Breakfast is ok, the usual, yogurts, cakes toast, scrambled egg and sausage. Nice cappuccino. Toiletries provided in shower room. Fridge and kettle in room, although paper cups and no coffee! TV has no English channels. Tourist tax of £4.50 per person per night to pay upon check out.

We stayed at the Diana Park hotel for 2 nights. The first day, we were welcomed by the receptionist and very pleased with the room where all the amenities were serviceable. Nevertheless, the second day we started having several issues: 1/ Air Conditioning stopped working 2/ There was no hot water in the shower Following our complaint, the receptionist who was on duty that night offered another room on the same floor. We were very pleased with this option, however the air conditioning was not working in the new room. It was very late, so we fell asleep and did not have the strength to complain any longer. The next morning, the female receptionist on duty, advised that her colleague had not activated the air conditioning in our room the previous night. She did not offer any apologies for the issues encountered. We felt that this accommodation was not in line with our expectations, and will not return again.

This hotel is a bit far away from the center, but it seemed cheap so I made a booking. (However, it turned to be more expensive than other hotels whose location was better). There were hidden fees, which were not indicated anywhere in the reservation page or the confirmation e-mail. I FEEL AS IF I HAD BEEN SCAMMED. If the tax are not included, if must be specified in my booking. Therefore, when I said I never found this “surprise” cost, the receptionist said it works always like this for all the hotels and she insinuated I was lieing. How rude! . Furthermore, at my arrival the room was not ready (I had to wait like one hour and, then, a towel was missing. Apart from that, I found some hairs inside the room). I work for the tourism field and I will talk to everyone about how awful this experience was. Shame on you!

The hotel is very comfortable and clean. It’s location is not bad as it is on a couple of bus routes and not expensive in a taxi. Nice bar, nice breakfast. Not central to Florence centre but bus takes you where you need to go.

Really good hotel. Wonderful old building recently renovated to a high standard. Excellent, friendly and helpful staff, spacious and spotless rooms with very good breakfasts included. It could not be better situated being a couple of hundred metres from the C1 bus stop. This bus runs a very frequent and reliable circular route right into the centre for €1:50.All the major attractions- Uffizi, Pitti Palace, Dome , Ponte a Vecchio are within easy walking distance from it's stops. Easy to get to the railway station and thence the airport. A brilliant place to stay.

This friendly little hotel made a great base for our stay in Florence. Rooms a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Reception staff helpful with advice for best ways of getting around and where to eat locally. Bus tickets can be purchased in the hotel and this is the cheapest way to buy them. They're valid for 90 minutes, which will get you to most places. Bus stops right outside the hotel or in the little square opposite depending on your route. Restaurant provides a good choice for breakfast.
