Quirky but clean, comfortable and really close to all the things you want to see in Florence. Would definetly recommend staying here. We had a car but they quickly organised a pick up and parking which was appreciated.
The hotel is quite simple, but lovely and clean with all the basic things that you need for a short break. Staff are so friendly and helpful and even booked a taxi for us on departure. The cleaning staff also do a wonderful job as...More
This is an excellent place to stay. 20 mins walk to duomo, quiet, clean, good breakfast, friendly staff & wi fi. There maybe no view but still 5* accommodation - thou roughly recommend. Great for business or holiday traveller
I stayed here with my girlfriend for one night since we did a quick one day trip to Florence. The room was spacious and modern. This isn’t a regular traditional hotel. It is only one floor with a few rooms. It was very clean and...More
Excellent place. Very clean, huge rooms (for Europe). Water pressure and temperature in the shower was the best I had in all the places I stayed at in Italy. Wifi worked wonderfully fast. Continental breakfast was the same every day, but tastes good and there...More
The pleasant atmosphere of this residential area, a stone’s throw away from the Duomo of Florence, surprises everyone. A continuous flow of backpacking students provides the tranquil surroundings for the elderly residents who sit in Piazza San Marco to read the daily newspaper. Home to several universities, including the Academy of Fine Arts, San Marco is one of the most vibrant cultural centers in the city. A
bridge connecting the modern cultural activity of Florence to its classic art, represented by the everlasting magnificence of the original David, resonates as a symbol of Florence and of Italy as a whole. Get lost in a Neoclassic world, a journey back in time through historic buildings like Spedale degli Innocenti (Hospital of the Innocents), San Marco church, Basilica della Santissima Annunziata, and natural jewels like the Botanical Gardens.
