I need to start with saying that I did not stay in the hotel proper but in one of two main level apartments. The apartment had all the things you would need for an extended stay, kitchen, separate living room, large closet, over all it was a very spacious accommodation. Being alone and only in Florence for 2 night, it...

Spent a couple of days in Florence in December at this hotel. Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Facilities are as you would expect. The terrace is a great spot for a coffee or a beer with a fantastic view over Florence. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location and lovely staff. Will definitely be back. Very attentive service and would highly recommend the highest rooms in the house which are very quiet even on New Year's Eve. The square has several great quirky bars and restaurants to enjoy.

Room was very spacious. Breakfast food was varied and tasty. Liked the location near Pitti Palace and an easy walk to bridges. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, especially when choosing restaurants.

The room was huge. Couldn't decide if it was trompe d'oeil on the ceiling or real plaster bas reliefs. Staff were exceptionally gracious and welcoming. Bathroom was very large and exceptionally clean. Will definitely stay there again. The balcony was amazing and had a most luxurious feel to it. Enjoyed a drink there in the evening.

We were given the room located 5 feet from the kitchen and 10 feet from the front desk. Sadly the kitchen staff began preparing breakfast 6:30am which meant we were awake at that time....not what we wanted on a holiday. Additionally, our room wasn't very clean (we found chewed gum one the shower door and a lot of dust throughout....

A mix of good and not-so-good. Neighborhood is great. Good restaurants (not the ones that will cost you a bodily part to have pasta and a glass of wine), nice piazza at the front. The building that houses the hotel is the old palazzo they talk about... but... when you access the building outside work hours, there is the distinctive...

I absolutely loved it here. We stayed for 2 nights in one of the superior double rooms. Everything was exactly as advertised. Walking distance to all of the big sites in Florence, but also secluded enough so as to not feel like you're staying in a tourist trap. The building is wonderful. THE CEILINGS! Literally cannot say enough great things...

Very spacious room on the top floor with a large bathroom - very quiet most of the time. Fab views of Florence from the hotel - it felt like I was part of history staying there. The staff are very friendly too and were quick to point me in the directions of good restaurants and places to go to help...

A wonderful place to stay in Florence. Our room was spacious , the location was great and exiting and vibrant. It was close to everything. The staff was terrific. It was close to the train station. Only drawback was the cab driver on the way back to train station who changed the meter setting. Hotel had a difficult time arranging...
