This was a great place to stay, even better when you consider the price, nice large room, very comfortable bed, clean and well kept, we stayed 4 nights Lets get the one negative out of the way, there is no elevator and the rooms are up 4 flights of stair, I think that this is common so unless you have a disability or heart condition don't let the stairs stop you. The location is great, just across the river from all the major sites, lot of restaurants near by. It is family run and they take care of you. Breakfast is outstanding with plenty to eat and good variety. Its in a good area and not too busy. If we ever go back to Florence this will be where we stay.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this B&B! Location was perfect - on the other side of the bridge from the touristy sites, so it was more quiet and charming, and perfect to walk around and explore the cafe's and restaurants. We walked from the train station to the B&B, which was a bit of a walk but totally doable even with luggage. Around the corner from the B&B is San Spirito Square which has lots of cool restaurants and was just a great place to relax and people watch. Up the street was Boboli Gardens which was truly spectacular and totally worth the visit!

Beatrice and her family were so welcoming and lovely! The room itself was perfect - a large space facing the street with huge windows and high ceilings, and it was very clean. We are thankful to have chosen this B&B to stay in, and if we visit Florence again, we will definitely stay here again and will not hesitate to recommend this one to our family and friends.

Accommodating, clean, delicious homemade breakfast and friendly staff with lots of good tips about Florence. A great base to explore the city as it is within walking distance to all the main monuments. You are right next to Santo Spirito too which means that options for dining and after-dinner drinks are endless!

The wife and I loved this place! Very friendly and professional service in a very nice part of town with some good restaurants close by. We had a really nice and quiet room with a little terrace facing out back with everything up to a very good standard and beyond. I could easily write a very long recommandation mentioning many nice and even some fantastic details but my five star recommendation should say really it all! (But don´t expect the Wi-Fi to be able to stream Netflix! ;-)

Charming, classic Italian room with high ceilings and tall windows. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom en suite. The proprietors are nice and helpful and the breakfast is very, very nice. You have to carry your luggage up 2 or 3 flights, but if you travel light with a carry-on, it works. (They will help you, if needed. They are installing a lift that will go from the 1st floor ( 2nd floor, american). It is close to the Arno, the Pitti Palace, restaurants, nice plaza nearby. You can walk to all the major attractions. I would stay here again in a minute.

We felt realy welkom, nice staff. Perfect for its price. Nice room. Good breakfast. Great help with booking excursions and taxi. There was a small old elevator but that one was a bit scary... but we preferd the stairs. We surely would come back next visit in florence

Stayed for 2 nights and was really impressed with the room, facilities and location. Room view over courtyard with balcony. Very quiet at night for a place in the city. Breakfast was basic but enjoyable. Specially home made jam. Staircase not for the fainthearted or less able bodied. Few minutes walk from Pitti Palace and Ponte Vecchio.

Like going back in a time capsule, staying at this B&B was the perfect way to experience the Florence of centuries ago. It is located on a quiet street of antique shops and medieval architecture. While the building is from old Florence and it is a walkup what may be the original stone stairs, the room was charming and included an inside balcony, and the bathroom updated to modern times. Nice breakfast with choice of cereal, croissants and delicious variety of yummy homemade jams, including pear, plum, blackberry and several more flavors. A short walk to the bridge across the river.

This B and B is a great family business, with very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms are clean with good facilities. Breakfast is good, especially the selection of home made jam. The B and B is located in oltrano which is the opposite side of the river. Slightly more quiet and traditional side of florence. 5 mins from bobili gardens, palace and ponte vecchio. The B and B is also round the corner from San spirito square ( good place for drinks with the locals) and great food at gusta pizza and la casalinga.
