Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Renascentia is the perfect choice for travellers looking for luxurious accommodation off the well-known hotel brands. With 6 very well-equipped bedrooms and a nicely designed breakfast area you don’t miss out anything.

The breakfast itself is being served (no buffet in times of COVID-19) by Renascentia hotel’s lovely staff.

Its location could not be better as it is centrally located in the heart of Florence, just footsteps away from the Palazzo della Signora and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.

Lastly, all of that great comfort comes at a super fair price.

We found our perfect spot in Florence and will be back.

Fantastic stay in this great hotel. Everything was perfect, style, food, housekeeping - they are just amazing. Staff are so welcoming, helpful and friendly we couldn’t ask for more. The location is also great within easy walking distance of all main attractions and surrounded by great restaurants (no noise in the rooms though). Thanks for a great stay !

We very much enjoyed our night at Renascentia. It is very centrally located in Florence city. The room was modern with high ceilings and well-appointed and the bathroom was large and functional. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was abundant. We will stay there again.

Room Tip: It is best to take a cab there; you cannot readily drive into that part of the city.

What a jewel in the heart of Florence! Everything in this boutique hotel done with such a taste! The staff is kind, friendly and accommodating in every way. The breakfast is la carte and made right on your request. The mattresses and pillows are very comfortable to assure a good night of sleep. Next time I am in Florence, no need to search for a hotel, for sure, this is the place to stay! I would recommend this hotel to anyone in a heart beat! Thank you for making our stay such a delight!

Everything about our stay was superb. The staff went out of their way to meet our needs. The room was well-designed and beautiful. The bed was comfortable. Despite being on a busy street, the room was quiet. The bathroom was spacious with a great shower and heated towel rack. We loved having a coffee maker in the room and the daily chocolate treats. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Everything about the place was gracious and generous. The location is amazing.

Web site listed “private parking”. Parking was 0.4 miles away. Garage staff told us to bring all valuables with us. Streets were crowded with cars, people, cobblestones. Maps did not work in this area. When host asked how I was, I said, “Horrible!” He said that since we were unhappy he didn’t want us to stay at his property. We tried to voice that we just needed a minute and a drink of water. He brought us in and had us cancel. We were a mother and daughter. He was mean, mentally unstable, and should not be in this business. Never saw the property. Don’t stay here!

Stayed here for 3 nights as part of our anniversary holiday.
Firstly, the location is perfect, right in the centre of Florence and only a couple of minute walk away from the Duomo.
Our room was very spacious and the decor was beautiful.
Both the ladies that run Renascentia are very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was also very good, particularly the scrambled eggs with cured meats and cheese.
Will definitely be staying here again when next in Florence :)

Absolutely love this fabulous B&B, located in a central place in the old town, super convenient. The restaurant opposite means the street is lighted and safe even in late hours yet the B&B’s sound proofing is so good u don’t hear the restaurant sounds at all. Luca and Raffaella prepared for our arrival so we’ll and we felt so welcomed. They gave us their numbers once we checked in and advised us on the places to eat and visit and even helped made restaurant reservations.

Stepping into the B&B is like entering another world of luxury and comfort; it’s always welcoming returning to the room every evening. The room looks the exact same as in the photos but with the little touches that even the photos don’t do justice to. Love their breakfast spread every morning, it was delicious! I love that they also left a breakfast for us the night before I leave because I told them we have to leave at 630am and will miss their breakfast.

And the most amazing thing they did for me which surpass anything I have ever experienced from a hotel is… the last day after my super early check out I had a full day tour. Luca had kindly agreed to keep my luggage for me to collect late even though they typically won’t stay so late. Turns out the tour came back to Florence 30-45mins late so we didn’t have time to collect luggage and make it in time for our train. So I asked if Luca can help send my luggage to me by taxi to train station, and he agreed without hesitation. in the end, the taxi didn’t turn up and he and his sister actually pushed our 4 luggages all the way to the station for us, in the rain! just to help us catch the train. I am speechless by this kindness and dedication. I love this B&B, it has created the most wonderful memories of our Florence stay.💗

Stayed here recently and the rooms are truly beautiful! Such great design elements. They also provided us with a bottle of wine upon check-in which was a nice touch. Highly recommend staying at this oasis in the busy city.

The only small note was we couldn't find the stairs to get out. I know that sounds weird but the reception is not staffed 24 hours and we had an extremely early flight and needed to run down quickly (vs use the elevator). Also was a tinge worrisome if there was a fire/emergency.

And note save extra time if you are driving in to the historic city center and trying to park. It is not an easy task!! Even with all the correct directions and garage info provided by the hotel.
