My husband and I recently traveled to Italy to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary. We chose this hotel on a friend's recommendation and would gladly return. From our first step inside we thought we had found a hidden treasure. The staff was always friendly but Deepak was especially helpful from the moment we arrived. My husband accidentally left his backpack...

Booked a 3 night stay but was extended by an extra 4 nights because of volcanic eruption. Hotel and staff, especially Deepak and Peiris could not have done more to alleviate our inconvenience. They were extremely helpful with whatever was asked of them. The hotel was spacious, tastefully decorated and furnished and was just to our taste. Breakfast was very good...

The reviews for this hotel were so positive, that we changed from another hotel to here. I was amazed when I walked in how dark the hotel looked compared to the publicity images, and that feeling never left. It was winter, but I like a bit more light in a hotel. The use of the internal small courtyard in summer...

Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. Alberto at the desk was very accommodating and most helpful. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Breakfast delightful!

My husband and I stayed for four days while visiting our daughter studying abroad in Florence - leaving our excess bags with the hotel for the day we traveled out of Florence. Having traveled extensively over that last year in UK, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Greece, Germany and Italy, I found the star system means a large variety of quality in...

Place is a hole in the wall that actually turns out to be a godsend. Boutique style hotel with really nice people working there. Very close to anywhere you want to walk to. Best value we had in all of Italy. thank you!

This is a nice , charming hotel (not cheap) in the city centre. Best things about the hotel are: - Location: 7 minutes walking from the Duomo (cathedral), yet in a quiet street. Close to a nice little district with some good restaurants and shops, a popular market and the 19th century synagogue. - Staff: all of them are extremely...

Stayed at the J and J for three nights in mid August. Awesome stay. Had a room with a king size bed overlooking a small court yard. Only three rooms had access to the court yard which was great. Absolutely beautiful stay, breakfast was decent but not the best but it is included in the price so why bother complain....

This hotel as noted by others is away from the maddening crowd. I found the steet that it is on tho a little shabby and the immediate area is of no interest at all. We booked a double superior and were suprised to find no elevator. As we climbed the stairs (63 steps) to our room I was ready to...

Make no mistake, the J and J is a hidden gem of a hotel. Location-wise, it's perfectly placed within walking distance of the main sights, but far enough away to give you a feeling of serenity when you're walking back down its quiet side street (Via Mezzo) at the end of a busy day. A former 16th century monastery, it...
