Our travel agent booked us for this hotel and it was amazing. Not only did they upgrade us to a beautiful room for our anniversary, but they also had a bottle of champagne there for us. The check in process was easy and every person at the hotel was friendly and cheerful. They also helped us with a tour and...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

The hotel Brunelleschi is a dream come true. It's tucked away in a side street and is absolutely breathtaking. The tower of the hotel is a Byzantine tower. Hotel staff greeted us at our taxi upon arrival with umbrellas due to rain and escorted us inside. The concierge is extremely pleasant and accommodating and answered all of questions without hesitation....

We were more than pleased with this hotel on our arrival. The reception staff made us feel more than welcome. The rooms are absolutely fabulous, spotlessly clean with everything needed to make a stay as comfortable as possible.

Everything was perfect! We were very happy with this hotel and would recommend to friends. It was noisy outside on Saturday night, but I wouldn't blame the hotel for that issue (it seems like the teenagers of Florence like to party on Saturday night) and we slept very well all the other nights of our stay.

The location of the hotel is right in the heart of historic Florence, from which everything is in walking distance. From the warmth of the welcome to the final check out everything about this hotel was high class and high quality. We had just B&B but the breakfast was superb. We also chose to eat dinner in the Tuscan restaurant...

My wife and I loved this hotel. Location in heart of Florence near Duomo was ideal. Staff was thoughtful, friendly. Our first night, we were jetlagged and overslept. We arrived 20 min after breakfast ended, and the staff was cleaning up. Nonetheless they welcomed us in and saw that we were well fed. One night we inadvertently left our door...

A lovely looking hotel with efficient and helpful staff .We stayed as part of a valentine gift from our children . I would only criticise our room which was rather small and an accident waiting to happen with four big steps and no handrail from shower room to bedroom - ( probably wouldn`t be allowed at home.) Besides that the...

Hotel Brunelleschi is in the most perfect location, in the middle of all the sights and definitely a hotel I would be happy to return too. Walking into the Lobby I knew we had made the right choice to stay there, it was warm, inviting and the staff were professional and helpful. We stayed with our two children in a...

A warm welcome Room was large, lovely views, nice large modern bathroom, turn down service Fantastic location - walk to all attractions A couple of criticisms the wifi was poor - kept dropping off and took a long time to get logged back in. Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.

“Due to this being a small city all buildings are very close together therefore some of the rooms lack views but you don't go on a trip to a place like Florence to stay in the room so it did not detract from our holiday”
