As mentioned in previous reviews, the location could not be better. It's an easy walk to wherever you might want to go. The rooms are modern, comfortable and luxurious with many amenities. Perhaps better than that is the warm and helpful staff. We were treated like royalty despite arriving like drowned rats after being caught in a downpour. Claudio seemed...

The room was well appointed, very comfortable all around. My room was on an upper floor and looking out onto Via dei Calzaiuoli, but the hotel is well built so I had no issues with noise or urban light. While this hotel would get a very good review just based on the hotel, the staff, the restaurant and the bar...

Nicely restored hotel from it's 12th history. Very modern. Rooms are nice but shower in room 230 was very tight. Lights in room 231 were unpredictable. Sometimes can switch on/off. Rather annoying. Another annoying feature is the telephone. Never once did room service pick up calls. I always had to call reception. Location wise it is convenient, less than 5mins to...

On arrival we were treated like VIPs and were made immediately comfortable being introduced to all the main staff as if at Downton Abbey! We found a beautiful Prosseco waiting for us when we arrived and then another on my husbands birthday when we returned from our exploring. The food in their restaurants was delicious and even had a range...

We loved our two night stay at the Hotel Brunelleschi. It was a wonderful way to end our 12 day trip through Italy. Check-in was easy and welcoming. We appreciated meeting Stefano, front desk manager, who I had previously communicated with by email prior to our arrival. We were brought to our rooms and given a very complete description of...

Beautiful hotel in an amazing location minutes away from all city attractions, spacious and clean rooms, generous breakfast. Reception staff is not at the level of this fine hotel. They are either busy or arrogant or both.

We traveled as a family of four (my husband, young adult children ages 19 and 21, and me) throughout Italy for two weeks right before Christmas. Brunelleschi was outstanding on all counts. Hotel location, excellent staff, delicious breakfast, and luxurious rooms with all of the amenities were awesome. This was definitely the highlight of our trip!!!

The hotel is beautifully decorated, and all amenities are of an exceptional standard. The hotel itself is right in the centre of the city, yet neatly tucked away giving it a lovely private atmosphere. The views of the D'uomo from our room were spectacular.

to be honest I enjoyed my trip in Florence more than Milan! The mean reason that I was walking around and I just use the Taxi twice from the airport and to the train station. The hotel managed to do a reservation for me in very famous restaurants in Florence and I like the food there. However the only one...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
