I returned again in December to Florence to visit my daughter and again booked the wonderful Hotel Arizona. When I arrived, Aldo and Danieli greeted me so warmly that I felt I was in my Italian home away from home. I was even assigned the same room I had a year ago-- Room 29--so it truly was familiar. This year...

Stayed for two nights and was pleasantly rewarded with a charming, warm, friendly, quiet hotel! Breakfast was standard European Continental, well stocked and attended by staff. Single room was perfectly clean and maintained. Location was approx. 8 min walk to Duomo - and other main attractions. Bus is very close by for easy access to train station. The fresco ceilings...

The room was a quad room that was cozy but fine....

Overall, I liked the hotel's location, rooms and breakfast. The staff seemed very friendly, but didn't want to and/or couldn't honor the terms of agreement. The summary on hotels.com and other sites stated complimentary parking and internet. They attemped to charge me for both. For starters, there was no internet access in my room as advertised, no big deal, I'll...
