Very nice, clean and newly renovated hotel!Great room, very nice bathroom, nice breakfast, very good location, exactly in front of the train and bus terminals(Santa Maria novella) and 10 minutes walking distance from ponte vecchio!Highly recommended!
Nice, clean and offers what it promises for the rates charged. Breakfast very good with lots of options. Room is large compared to other similar standard hotels. Bathroom spacious although a bit peculiar in layout.

Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The
area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.

The hotel like any other in Europe has small rooms and small bathrooms. What your paying for here is the location. I travel to Rome yearly and of all the areas, Spanish steps is the place to be. Shopping and restaurants are all there plus metro is so near. If your looking for a five star hotel this is not it. But the people are friendly and the re is so much to do outside the hotel.
