I loved this hotel! It's wonderful! Location (very short walk from Duomo, Uffizi, Galleria dell'Academia), rooms, staff, the view from room... I loved it. The breakfast on the terrace, with doves and cats on the roof. the view from our room was spectacular: the Duomo in the background! Loved it, loved it, loved it!

This is a relatively small hotel located at about five-minute walk from the tourist district and at about ten-minute walk from the Florence Conference Center. The entrance to the hotel is on a quiet side street, the hotel lobby is open 24 hours and is staffed with nice and helpful attendants. Very good and hearty breakfast kept me going for...

This trip was a present for a friend and I can't tell you how disgusted I am. Although the hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the train station and central to everything, the street outside is filthy and there are several a trash bins right by the entrance door. Our room on the first floor was little bigger...

Hotel Basilea was by far the worst hotel we've ever stayed. We did not have heating on the first night of our staying (in December) and the only window of the room couldn't be entirely closed. The breakfast was poor and on the second morning they gave us expired ham (it smelled and tasted bad). On the third evening, the...

This was the most horrible hotel where i've ever stayed. Dead bugs on the wall, dirt everywhere. No wifi, just in the lobby. We couldn't planned our day from out room. We had to go to the lobby, and sit there in out pajamas. Our window was broken, the shower was very tiny, and stinky. So the room was disgusting,...

We stayed here last summer and the hotel overall was good. It's an older hotel that could use some renovations, but hey, it's Europe you are staying in a city with so much history. The front desk was very helpful, they gave us suggestions for dining and coupons. The beds and rooms aren't luxurious, but I always got a good...

The mattress was painful!! I have never wanted to spend a second night in a hotel less. It actually caused me anxiety to return to this place. Mould on shower curtains, power would go out if you plugged in your phone, no wifi in our room because it was buried in the back corner.

Great location to walk to all points of interest in the city. Nice, helpful staff. Shower was broken but useable. Room was clean. No AC/Was loud on the street with windows open. Had a good free breakfast. Overall a good stay.

Could not believe the quality of this hotel. Stains all over the sheets and pillows, mould all behind the fridge and in the bathroom. The room didn't look like it had been cleaned at all with dust everywhere. The only good thing about the hotel was the exit.
