Stayed there few days ago. Chose the hotel based on reviews. Not sure I share the enthusiasm.
Yes, hotel is well located and stuff is friendly, but this is about where it ends. The feel of the room was somewhat unpleasant and dilapidated. Tiny couch...More

to read that location is well it is very easy for us as the hotel is few steps far from the Duomo and close to the most important artistic treasures, while I am happy you found our staff friendly. However you left our...More
We stayed here recently for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The room was spotless, quiet (there are amazing windows) and very nicely appointed. It was so close to the Duomo and all other attractions. One of the highlights was the restaurant. The organic...More
I stayed solo for 3 nights in late May 2018. The room was clean and had good air conditioning, which was important in the very HOT weather. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was really nice, and of course the location is wonderful--just a short...More

San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on
Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.

During my many stays at the hotel I've seen someone at the front desk at all times, day & night, and they are right next to/have a clear line of sight to the entrance. Taxi fares from the airport to Florence are fixed rate, thinking it was around 22 euros plus 1 Euro for each bag. Might be a little extra for late night/holiday trips. Be sure to let the hotel know about your expected late arrival.

Sorry I missed this question. There is one but for our room there were still about 7 stairs up to our door so if stairs are a concern be sure to email the hotel to ask for a room that is accessible only by elevator. :)
